Scotland History Tours is here for people who want to learn about Scottish history and get ideas for Scottish history tours. I try to make videos which tell you tales from Scotland's past and give you information about key dates in Scottish history and historical places to visit in Scotland. Not all videos are tales from Scotland's history, some of them are about men from Scotland's past or women from Scotland's past. Basically the people who made Scotland. From April 2020 onward I've tried to give ideas for historic days out in Scotland. Essentially these are days out in Scotland for adults who are interested in historical places to visit in Scotland.
As a Scottish history tour guide people ask: Help me plan a Scottish holiday, or help me plan a Scottish vacation if your from the US. So I've tried to give a bit of history, but some places of interest in Scotland as well.

Hi! I'm an American, studying Rhetoric in grad school. I'm writing a paper on how the Scottish Revolution, Reformation, and Rebellion impacted the rhetoric of Scottish Enlightenment. While I've been scouring "scholarly sources," I've actually found so much more benefit in watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge of Scottish history in a way that is easy to understand and much more interesting. The McDowell and McPheeters roots of mine are grateful. God bless.

I think of all the impositions on Scotland through the ages, the Highland clearances is the one that leaves me with a fire in my belly the most. Great summary of the history - difficult to do but you did it very well.

My mum, RIP, would've loved you. She emigrated to Canada from Glasgow. She always held a grudge against the English. Ironically, although my Dad was 5th gen Canadian, he came from a long lineage of an English family.

A fabulous video, Bruce. Your knowledge is indeed encyclopaedic with a great way of communicating it. I wish you had been my history teacher 60 years ago. “No that stabby thing. That’ll get ye the jail “. Magic. I’m still laughing at it! You’re really helping my final months on earth, sadly not on my native soil. 😞

All your talks are awesome, but your vids on the Scottish Enlightenment and the Black Watch Soldier are especially interesting! Appreciate what you do, Fummey.
