Fun fact: In 2012, when ETS 2 was just released. SCS already has licenses for the Scania, MAN and Renault trucks, while other truck manufacturers such as the DAF, Iveco, Volvo and Mercedes Benz were not officially added and were changed to DAV, Ivedo, Valiant, and Majestic respectively. Later updates include licenses for all the truck manufacturers mentioned above.

I had an idea to bring it back with updated graphics, as well as a stand for your company's custom trucks. I also had a thought of adding a clip of a truck entering a garage/showroom when your mouse cursor is above the garage icon.

I have both the games in my computer. Now I'm 13 yrs old&started playing ETS 1 in (7 yrs old) 2013 &ETS 2(1.1.1) in (somewhat 12 yrs old) 2017.Euro Truck Simulator 1&2 will be my evergreen childhood favourites.My truck gaming career started from 2012 by the game 18 Wheels Of Steel American Long Haul made by Scs software, then I played ETS 1, and games based on them(UKTS, GTS)I love ETS 1, 2❤️❤️❤️

I'm 14. I started with Scania Truck Driving Simulator in 2012, then German Truck Simulator and UK Truck Simulator in 2013. That same year I explored other games like 18 Wheels of Steel and eventually got ETS2 v1.9. For the next 6 years I have been playing and gaining experience. I now have over a thousand hours on ETS2 alone, and I don't plan to stop.

@@DarthDave573 OMSI 2 is an unoptimized, therefore trash performance shit with full of serious bugs while playing. The planned successor LOTUS's development is also only in a very early stage and it isn't advancing fast enough. So no, this wouldn't be the right way for ETS.

@@Gothpaladinus So what is the right way? Continue to claim to be a simulator, when it is not, or try to actually revolutionize the truck games? I can't think of a trucking game, that has the same level of simulation and feel as OMSI for buses. Yeah, it's buggy and broken, but that doesn't mean something like ETS 3 would be also as bad.

Euro truck simulator 1 is a legend game, i like it so much. In my childhood i played this game so much, now i prefer euro truck simulator 2.

Remember me and my big brother taking turns at playing before school good times

11 years later... Before and after. Well, my favourite one is Euro Truck Simulator 2. This is the best game ever, better than Euro Truck Simulator 1. My favorite truck is also in the game, it's Scania. Amazing video!

Damn the amount of cities in ETS1

I wish there was ability to exit your truck to manually attach your trailer, to bring the papers to the dispatcher, to fuel your truck or to walk around your truck on go to sleep if you have 1-person bed upgrade on the back of your truck, something like in Construction sim 2015. That would be easily one of the best game

Fun fakt In ets 2 Mercedes was majestic before Mercedes singed some type of contract to allow Mercedes be in the game

I am glad finally spain/iberia will be released this year for ets 2

He got the video over 10 minutes with this, so he was able to set more than one advertisements on the video. So he filled up his video with an advertisement to get more advertisements on it. I don't remember seeing something that greedy on KZread before. Sorry, but for me that's a reason to ignore the channel in the future. I won't support such unfair methods.

If it looks fine don’t change it. Only difference is the stripes across are shorter and the ends of said stripes are faded.

11 years = shadows, sharper textures, more polygon models.... there is no difference that makes 11 years worth

i remember the mix up in the begining of ets2 when there was like daf runner swift mercedes.

10:00 ETS1 blinker's sound is same as that in BUS DRIVER

It's funny how the rain droplets used to flow up, and even when you're crawling at barely no speed at all. I mean that's how it is in a passenger car at speed, but in a cabover? Ahahah.
