Hey guys!
Welcome to another Soul Calibur video!
Now today I am all extremely pleased to bring you the 'History Of Astaroth' , I do apologise for this video coming out soooooooo late In comparison to some of the other ones I have done but I have been holding off this video until he got his SC6 reveal!
In saying that I am extremely pleased with what I see from Astaroth In game (so far) and putting together this video was not only informative but very fun for me, Its been awhile since I've down a history of video so Its been great for me to go back to my roots!
In saying that I do hope you enjoy this and come away learning more about your favourite axe welding, gut busting hell guardian Astaroth!
As I do go into detail with the character creation and the crazy amount of conflict he has to go through, fighting against his creator and the rest of the world in order to obtain what he believes is rightfully his!

And yes depending on who gets revealed next will determine the next SC6 'History of' episode'.

I never realized how much of a hand the Greek Gods had in the first few games, I also love how one of the bonus characters from Soul Caliber IV is completely canon to the story.
Astaroth's backstory is one of the more interesting ones

Love that old purple headsman skin in the beginning.
the clones of astaroth in sc5 have a vague memory of maxi when facing him in special dialogue. also, when you win a 1v1 vs astaroth as astaroth yourself, his winning scene is him claiming loudly that 'he his astaroth". so yeah there is a little more story to it but sc5 lacked in that so we'll never know

Yes i miss that winning pose where he beat his chest 3 times with his left hand and then rise up in victory pose.

This was an amazingly well done video :) I am happy to see you do so well/much with this. One note I did want to say is there's another reason, just a fun trivia fact. The other reason he made an army of Astaroths, is because it also separated their willpower, making them easier to control. In the SCV story there were 32 Astaroths I believe roaming around, which is why when/if you defeat an Astaroth in a mirror match he pounds his chest saying "Only I am Astaroth". Because when one is defeated/killed, the others become stronger and he regains more of his willpower.

Liu Kang, Kung Lao kilik, Ryu, and Iron Fist would be a great team. Imagine a cartoon or side scrollin esque beat em up, or marvel ultimate alliance style game. Dam. Shit would be fire.

Voldo is strange but I never seen Rock as a strange one. He looks like a barbarian and his style was primal and brutal like it was supposed to be, but I aggree that Rock is often overlooked and that's a shame because he was great especially in Sc1. Voldo has a lot more video on youtube than Rock, becuase is a popular one.
