Histoplasmosis From Bats in your attic - How to stop them from getting in

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Bats can cause a health risk like histoplasmosis that comes from a fungus growing in bat and bird droppings. When bats are done feeding at night they like to roost in warm dark areas throughout the day. You're Roof attic spaces are perfect dark warm areas for them to roost. When they are roosting they typically leave droppings behind. Those droppings could have fungus spores in it and if inhaled could lead to histoplasmosis. If redoing your roof pay close attention to the soffit that comes to the roof deck. Those areas are typically open enough for bats and birds to make their way in. In this video I show a simple way to add a piece of aluminum flashing to block it off. This is a repair that could be done without redoing your entire roof.

histoplasmosis capsulatum - really cool of you to bring a health intelligence when the opportunity presents itself. Kirk Giordano (Giordano Plastering) also spoke about this potentially deadly airborne bacteria as a product of rats, mice & birds around residential areas. in Kirk's situation he spoke about rats & their droppings sequestered in a residential premises. He has a personal account of the deadly health impact spoken to in one of his plastering vids. enjoying the quality of your roofing intelligence in the vids i have selected so far.

That is a great idea my man. Thanks. Necessity is the mother of all invention. You didn't have to rip the soffit out to fix it.

Pigeons (and probably other birds) also carry histoplasmosis.

I get rid of bats in my attic by adding a sonar machine, strobe lights cranked up to max, spikes, and trip wires
