Eat! Meet! Japan is a project created by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF) to recognize and promote the best Japanese food experiences nationwide. For 2020, 15 winning experiences were selected, representing 11 prefectures of Japan. The judges chose a diverse range of experiences, but they all have one thing in common: bringing people together through food and providing a window into the deep culture of the area represented.
