This edit took a few days to produce.
My camera handling skills were way off that day. I had a ton of shaky footage to stabilize. I have a bad habit of stopping to peek at the LCD too often as well. Nothing that a few hours of stabilization wont fix...... :)

Nope, this is a series of several hundred pictures taken with a Nikon D850 camera and Sigma 150-600mm lens. I used Davinci Resolve to roll the individual shots into a timelapse movie. Thanks for the question. Kevin.

@@user-fq9te7nh6g Only my eyes and camera were at risk, but thx for your concern. It's serious business starring at the sun all day. Not everyone is cut out for such things. ;)
