I saw them live when I was in high school. Absolutely electrifying live! The chemistry between Axl and Slash is true greatness and genius! I was in the presence of true greatness that left an imprint on me! Appetite for Destruction is one of the greatest bands of all time! Listen to that entire album! Just perfection! When actual talent mattered!

The basis that formed this song was a pimp looking at Axel when he got off the bus in LA and said Welcome to the jungle, you're gonna die. They weren't all sleaze and flash. Axel Rose has a 4.92 octave voice range at the height of his career.

I think I must be about the same age as y'all, more or less. I was in 5th grade when this album was out and getting huge, and I have memories of listening to it after school while working on extracurricular stuff, because my nerdy classmate (who later went on to skate on the vans warped tour) would always bring this tape with his boombox. My parents still hate GnR! Olli is having THE MOST fun with this song, though!
