An original Brompton has room for a toolset inside the front tube, for most repairs, and I can see that the 3Sixty has a much more massive built, and isn't able to have that. "Walking in the footsteps never makes you come first"! I have changed my bolts to a "wheel" type with a security bolt in the end, and a paralleliser in between, to keep them upright at all times.

Thank you for the video and safety tip with ease of understanding! When I read FB post about causing accidents, I wasn’t sure if that was really urge to think about replacing the hinge clamp, but now I got what the post meaning and I will def. be getting the replacement. I appreciate your helpful tips, Fred.

Great video, I went to check my B and I realised that the design is indeed different. Your video really put another point in why I think it’s at times worth the $ to buy a Brompton. They have after all spent time on research and not copy and cut corners for costs. I do agree that it is a little crazy the price for a new B but the peace of mind is priceless. Also if stock B parts fail, I’m sure I can sue… the rest…. Hmmm. Thanks for he video

Hey Joe, thank you for dropping by. Haha unfortunately I didn't do well enough in physics/maths to become either of those. 🤣

my bike came with aluminium bolts... the front stem one bent when the bike fell on its side in the folded position and broke off when i tried to screw it in without realising... luckily it still had sufficient length to tighten the clamp (if i wanted to fold i had to remove the bolt completely)... i 3D printed a knob and got an M10 bolt to use before getting a replacement shipped in so good advice not to get the aluminium one... it might also be a good idea to keep a spare one in your bag (same goes for the suspension block)

Hey N, thanks for leaving your comments. I think those that you mention will alter the gear ratios but doesn't necessarily mean one can go faster. Increasing the gear ratio means that more force is required to maintain cadence (rev per min of your pedaling effort) for the rider. If the force required gets too much beyond what the Rider can produce, cadence will fall and affect speed. Key is to find the balance between these factors and depends rider to rider. Not sure if it makes sense. Video on this to come in due course, promised this to many already. haha

Thanks for your comment Chanel. I've done a review of the 3sixty, you can check it out on my Channel. My view still stands. The stock parts are totally fine in my opinion, the trouble lies in the aftermarket parts some replace them with. As for the Slopes, it is dependent on many factors (fitness, gear ratio etc) and vary rider to rider. Hope it helps.

@@fredphua Thank you Fred for your reply. Had already watched a few of your videos. Used to ride on an MTB with suspension and handling is rough. Afraid that this folding bike may be a bit delicate? Worried that it may be easily broken by my rough handling and riding… Hahahahaha…

@@chanelsoh9865 ah ok I kind of get what you mean by the fear of breaking. Then yes, I don't think this design will be suited as a full replacement of a MTB where you navigate the trails. More leisurely rides on pavements or roads I'd say, and definitely able to withstand like general bumpy roads. Haha btw, some fierce riding there.. 😁

Hey Amas, I think it is commonly available on many online platforms. You can just look it up on the usual suspects like lazada, aliexpress etc. Hope it helps.
