8:31 I too feel the same. If this Man stops making films then maybe I will also stop watching Movies. This Man is the reason I grew so much interest in Movies and specially south movies. He is the reason why my interest of filmmaking awakened once again. Watched all his movies. Even I am writing a story as a Tribute to him. Many people say that, Sujatha, who used to write dialogues and give inputs in Shankar's Scripts, was the reason due to which Shankar's Movies earlier were masterpiece but now they have lost the quality as Sujatha Sir is no more. But I would say, He is just going through a bad phase. My Gut feeling says, he is going to give a solid Comeback through Indian 2. He is Great and God for me. Salute to the champion.🫡🫡🫡🫡

I 2014 was just as good, it was just too long. I is really really good. And if you are talking about enthiran he has just made 3 movies after enthiran, I 2014, nanban(which was a 3 idiots remake) and 2.0 which had great visuals and action set pieces only problem was the half baked story. And after soo many years he is finally coming back, he is still a great director and I really think indian 2 will be good.

Don't compare him with Nolan He is a great director in terms of indian mass masala films But that doesn't mean he is comparable to Nolan He is nowhere close to him Watch at least half of Nolan's films to understand that his films introduced audience to such concepts which nobody has seen or imagined before whereas shankar's films have things which are already there in the west it's just that he puts that in the Indian scenario And saying this as a fan of shankar and Nolan too
