Sweet. The flipper has a tougher detent that makes it kinda hard to thumb flick with the blade stops. How is it on the non-flipper? I heard they lightened it up a bit to make it easier.

Sorry bro. It has already been sold. I ended up putting OD green micarta scale on it with bronze Hardware and it looked amazing. Just moved it on to get the next one. Good luck. I will keep an eye out.

Man I hope one day to have a Hinderer I think I will go with a 24 but I'm not sure this one is pretty sweet congrats again on adding it to your collection and another awesome review

Thanks man. There are so many options out there that don't cost as much and have great build quality. I think no one needs to spend this much to get an excellent knife. However they are badass.

Thanks man. My advice is dont pass one up if the only thing it does not have is the scale color you want. The G10 scales are cheap.

I have the new eklipse and the pb washers are good and will break in but out of the box bearing are soo good. I have some micarta scales coming for my eklipse, well I need to send her to my guy rcbladeworks.com since he doesn’t have a jig for it yet and he’s doing it for free. I have about 4 different sets of micarta from him. He has xm-18 model scales I suggest looking at his site for micarta scales.

DTOM Knives and Gear you need to go to the drop down menu in the top right corner and click made to order scales you need to select 1 scale knife then there is a list of all his colors click on picture of the micarta then there is a selection for what knife model and then pocket clip placement. Everything is in stock in that list because it’s made to order.

Oh lol I use beard oil on the micarta scales because they come dry. I use 10 weight nano lube inside the pivot and on the detent ball

Also make sure to clean it. Mine was also a bit rough out of box and I cleaned it then lubed it

Funny how this knife is designed for first responders. I’ve been a volunteer firefighter for 6 years. Almost no one carries a knife on the department. If they do have a knife, it’s usually a CRKT or a Kershaw. Some people keep leathermans on their firefighter turnouts. I’ve always wanted a hinderer and I bet they are a great tool for first responders. I’m just saying that from my personal experience, the firefighters buy knives that are under $100

I bet for the most part you are correct. Since Rick Hinderer was a firefighter that is what he was thinking about when he designed it. I don't know many FF but the ones that i know are not necessarily knife guys and they just have a knife on them as a tool and as long as it works they are good.

I am not sure if Bryan has Corona! My brother was sick and after him my dad, and both cough so badly I hear never something like this before!!! And Bryan is normal like always or not! You hear him Coughing?! Like someone kill a bear?!

@@dtomknivesandgear6635 yea brother! Both, my father and brother are OK again! My brother even didn't notice that he was sick!!! Can you imagine that!? Because he is young. But my dad is older and I was thinking he gonna be die because of how he was coughing! I know it's real but every other virus or so is the same and nobody make a panic like that! Our Governments lied to all of us so bad! And everyone is believing that sh.t! I know before that it's just a standard thing! Of course older people always get captured by illnesses. That's normal! Greetings
