It is a common tactic. A lot of cruisers I've teamed with can achieve 100% AR buff consistently super early on.

Hinden has Enough Range with her 17.8 + Spotter, no real need to sacrifice the DPM to maybe hit less at further range

Honestly, with range mod, I get more damage, but I like having reload mod.

@@charakiga I mention mostly everything in the video, but in summary, be careful against 30mm Overmatch BBs, but against others which don't really overmatch you, you can pretty much do whatever you want.

Well I love Hindenburg too. Whenever I'm having bad games, I simply play the good old Hindy and get good results :)

My fourth Tier X, and the only one that I can really play in Random Battles. Ultimately, not a “tank” as you demonstrated in the first game. But rarely gets obliterated in the first FrankenShip salvo, either.

Great vid as always. I just wanted to ask what are your thoughts on IFHE Hinden is the extra pen ever worth the fire chance?

The only threshholds you gain with IFHE are Yamato deckarmor at 57mm and Kremlin/Napoli Deckarmor at 60mm, cutting your firechance in half for this is absolutely not worth it, in my opinion, it probably reduces your average damage by a good chunk.

Last week im finding my self playing Hindenburg only. I think that CA have some buff to the DPM (undercover). Btw u can have both Special module and reload at the same time :)

Great ship, Another one out of 150+ ships I hardly use though. All simply because I don't have a permanent camo for it yet, Wish they would lower the camo prices on all the ships or have option to grind it through coal/steel

Yeah Sadly.

Damn, had my first game in Hindenburg, just a tester-Co-Op, this thing slaps! I was expecting a fire farmer. But I switched to AP when the situation presented itself it DELETED 2/3 health enemy cruiser in a single salvo! I did 100k damage in a 3-4 minute Co-Op!

First game was a two-kill-shut-out (the only reason why it wasn’t was because of Malta); the second game was the same thing, just with Malta on the other side. Call me crazy, but I seriously don’t remember matches being that bad a year ago. Worse, that’s what every match has been lately, which is statistically impossible.

Yes, it's all right. If you do not give out 3 or 4 citadels while your first turn in on Hindenburg, something is wrong with this particular match. Also help you to reload faster with AR.

I am not Malta, but if you want an honest to god answer which is more powerful right now, its the Rupprecht. Pommern is not bad, but it has some glaring weaknesses like the turretangles, concealment, manuverability. It pretty much plays like a slightly downsized kurfürst but with torpedos for close range engagements. The problem is, getting into close range before being farmed out and burning to a crisp. Rupprecht with a full IFHE secondary/concealment build just shreds, the mainguns are alright, the torppower enormous and its much more nimble than pommern/FDG. Only real weaknesses are low hp pool and the lightly armored nose.

Moskva can be quite comfy to play, the guns are not as crazy as petros, but the HE is better, the radar is better and it has just as broken armor. Unless you show broadside, then you just die. xD Sherman would be my pick, because I like gunboat DDs that can kill other DDs very efficiently, though it has a higher skillfloor. Cant go wrong with either of them.

@@aerynhellscythe3145 As much as it pains me to say this, but yeah.. GK is not great. It was my first T10 back in the day and I still love the base idea of the ship, but it just has these insanely bad firing angles on the rear turrets, its a massive target in general, CVs eat you alive. I have yet to unlock preussen, but from what I've seen it is objectively an upgrade to GK, I think.

How you know i'm a noob at this game... You have more Hindenburg games then I have TOTAL games...

I wish they would buff Hindy armor. Feels like her purpose has been creeped over the years. Maybe give her 40mm deck plating or something like the Goliath has? Because Goliath does the kite and burn role better than Hindy does with all of the overmatch these days.

@@Artem_Shepelev You run range mod and just sit stern towards enemy speed juking return fire. Her deck is 41mm so it can't be overmatched by BB guns. Then she has spaced armor to help protect from shells coming from the sides. Plus her shells have a higher HE Alpha and Fire Chance than Hindy does.

@@liirha Even with range mod you have less range than reload mod Hindi with spotter. Bad shell velocity doesn't help either. You can kite in her decently but Hindenburg is just superior for that. Hindi can stay farther away making it easier to dodge shells while still being able to consistently land shells. Goliath have higher alpha and fire chance than Hindenburg but her reload is twice as high too. Reload mod Hindi has ~40% more HE DPM compared to range mod Goliath, and more than twice as much AP DPM. And even with range mod Hindenburg outdpms Goliath while having massively better range

@@Artem_Shepelev Yet I find myself living significantly longer when open watering in the Goliath than in the Hindy. That 40mm deck plating not letting all the 430mm+ shells punch through is a BIG factor in surviving. Even if it doesn't citadel you, getting chunked for 10k+ by full pens hurts a lot. But yes, the Hindy does have a lot more DPM, I don't deny that. I am just saying the Goliath is significantly more survivable while doing it.

@@liirha My point is if you are able to survive for the entire battle in Hindenburg, you will do significantly more damage than in Goliath. And in my experience it's pretty easy to survive for a long time in German cruisers. Goliath tankiness is kinda wasted on kiting since it can be used to play more aggressively at close range

This start that get 75% of hp made me stop playing paper ships like salem and play more agir petro napoli etc! Its really hard in randoms keep your eye everywhere that there is a lot of opponents

8v8 or 10v10 in beta was better. It was more intimate, your skills against those around you, instead of being relegated to team mates going back to port early and you and 4 others vs 10 with 2 on their team back to port. Power dynamic between random teams is way off.

Just dont get it why WG decided to give the Cruiser line with the worst speed and bad concelment depth charges insted of ASW planes...

Watching Malta's video I realise I have no hope in this game: he has 10 fires after 195 HE shell hits, I get 1 fire after 140 HE hits. And before the know-it-alls come and say that I'm shooting on ships while their DMC is on, no, that's not happening. And it's not just one battle. It happens consistently It's just that some people are born with good RNG, some aren't. Its like being born with a large dick or not You can train as much as you want, but against the DNA lottery there is nothign you can do
