1 of my favorites. I call Z--46 gut genug (Good Enough). There are DD's Faster, but its Good Enough, there are DD's with better guns, but its Good Enough, Same with torp, concealment, etc etc etc. It's Gut Genug.

It pretty much has a mix of things which allow it to be able to get the damage it does, I show my stats in the latter part of the video, the damage is great.

OBVIOUSLY this review is great, and HONESTLY malta has great vocabulary. Maltese Dictionary FAN BTW

I really enjoy the videos. One thing that you could try is to somewhat summarize the characteristics of a ship right at the start, like what you like about it, what makes it special, etc. I think that would be a nice way to introduce your videos. Big fan

Z-46 is honestly one of my favorite T9 destroyers. That AP can wreck an unknowing Kitakaze pretty quickly if they turn a blind eye. Definitely prefer Z-46 to Z-52.

Z-46 is awesome at T9, I called it hidden gem here, because not many know that the buff it got made it quite the monster, also I rarely ever see content covering this ship, so I really wanted to cover it!

When this line came out, the Z-46 didn't get much attention one way or the other but maybe a bit negative. After about 8-10 games in it I wanted to keep it and had to re-think my Captain plans. I even bought a permanent cammo for it (sucker, thanks WG). Anyway, I have never regretted it, win in it a lot. I think because it can do anything at least pretty well you can go into any game and have a way to help win.

The Z-46 and Z-52 are very average ships in the best sense. They lack the DPM other DDs have, but they're actually absolutely usable in any situation. Your 5/6km hydro gives you a tactical advantage, but you still need to be careful not to get outgunned. All in all, super solid ships, but kinda unsexy in character. Like a true German 😅 (saying this as a German myself)

Ph. D. In linguistics here. The most intelligent individuals use “obviously” as >50% of their total vocabulary. Big fan.

Z-46 was a blast to grind, I did it in one after noon and loved every game I played in it. I honestly think its better that Z-52.

Thanks for covering this lil' bote, I think Z-46 was my most enjoyable Tier IX grind... BTW, any particular reason behind Grease the Gears, since Z-46's turret traverse is pretty quick (10s base, IIRC)? Making the most of Lutjens' bonus (or a transferred captain, since I think out of every mid/high tier German DD, only Z-46 & Z-52 don't have really slow turret traverse)? I'd personally take/recommend Incoming Fire Alert but anyway, no shade. Big fan.

As it should, since Z-46 is where German DDs get competitive in terms of offense and concealment. Z-46 is a great choice when Ranked goes to T9. I use it as a hard counter to Kitakaze.

1/4 HE pen is always nice. Maybe Z-52 "thought process" in the future?

Most of her loadout (Firepower, torpedoes, etc) stay the same (500m less hydro range sure but she's a bit stealthier and handles better). All that while being a tier lower sounds like a good deal to me.
