Hi Sir my 7 year old son has frequent voice changes from last 2 months.We met ENT dr they did endoscopy and told some enlargement in adenoids.But he told to wait for 9 years age for surgery.Some times after 9 years age the adenoids enlargement went off.....Is it correct what is your openion sir.....sometimes my son put his fingers inside hole of ear is it normal or related to adenoids.....

Hi, it may be related. Since children cannot express block in the ears, they may keep pulling their ears or putting their fingers inside the ear. We may sometimes perceive this as itching in the ear.

Sometimes snoring in night and sometimes mouth breathing in day time only.its normal or adenoid problem.he is only 2 years old.pls reply

yes, certainly.

Sir namaste. Mere bachhe ko Adenoids hain.Dr septiline syp, Nasal spray aur Levo cetriz syp diye. And Steam inhale karne nole. Bachha steam inhale nahi kar paya.par medicines se sardi bukhar thik ho gaya. But still he sleeps with open mouth and his physical growth ruk gaya he doesn't gain proper weight.

Warm regards doctor, I am a 19 year old male, i have slight crackling/popping voice in my ears when i drink/swallow from when i was 13. I recently had tonsillitis and it was cured by medications from doctor. However,on the follow up after a week my doctor did nasal endoscopy and found out i had enlarged adenoids. From a small age(3-4years) i had adenoids issue and may be it persisted to adulthood. Is it something to worry about,sir? I am very scared as it is uncommon in adults. Ur opinion will be very helpful doctor sir🙏🙏

Sir, My daughter of around 9 years underwent adenoid surgery on 22nd Nov 2023. Her voice is coming from nose. When her original voice will come. She had undergone cleft palate surgery at the age of 1 years. It is requested sir kindly suggest when her original voice will come. Before adenoid surgery her voice was absolutely fine but after surgery her voice is coming from nose.

Hi, inflammation takes about 30-45 days to subside. Also please bear in mind cleft palate children have higher chances of developing VPI after adenoidectomy. Please talk to your doctor after the above said duration completes if symptoms persist.
