@@jonmcfarland3832 Just picked one up today. It has the thumb and throttle.
I also have the Cobra from Himiway and in the meanwhile, Himiway selling fenders and a rack for this bike. I ordered and mounted the parts at my bike. Now it looks like an Touring-E-Fat-Bike. So much better at raining days or muddy roads. My longest trip with on battery load was 130 kilometers or 80 miles with 20% of the max. support. I had to paddle the whole time, but that is what I like. The weight is ok for me. I can lift the bike in to the basement and back on road level. Greetings from Germany.
Excellent review! I’m awaiting delivery of mine so I’m soaking up all I can so I’m ready when it arrives. Thanks for covering the pedal assist customization. Nobody else has mentioned this aspect. In fact, one review criticized the power levels coming on too strong at the lower levels. It sounds like Himiway has thought through this system very well. I’m looking forward to getting the Cobra out on the trails.
I love my cobra, I just removed my studded tires and back to stock, I rode this most of the winter and I am in Anchorage, AK This bike rocks!
Probably the best looking bike out there right now. I got one of the first cruisers that came out and it still performs flawlessly. A rack on this bike would be great. I use mine all the time, even made a holder for my rack to hold my 24" bar chainsaw.
My wife & i have been reviewing so many E-bike brands and models worldwide, and we keep finding ourselves brought back to the Himiway Cobra, it looks like this is to be our winner! thanks for the review 👍
The Himiway Cobra ebike looks amazing! its definitely one to keep on anyones radar, I for one am saving up for a new bike and ill be keeping my eye on their site so hopefully when i have the money ill be able to get it
Thank you for sharing, I have been looking into it and it was great to see a nice break down of it. Look forward to seeing more videos of the Cobra.
These guys are going to get a lot of my money! Love this bike!
I just purchased one and love it. Thanks for the tip on the plastic film. I’m going to order some asap.

You do such a great job reviewing the product. Thanks
Great review Bryan! It has me considering this over the step-thru cruiser. I also loved your mod video of the twist throttle, display and larger handle bars for this bike, all of which make sense. Now you have me looking forward to the fenders & rear rack mod video to make this bike complete! ;)

This is the bike I need in my life...wow....just awesome!!!
The styling is superb. The carbon fiber paint scheme is fantastic. It's great that is has a torque sensor, hydraulic brakes, 20AH battery, and full suspension including a brand name fork.
That Himiway Cobra looks badass! So glad they have a torque sensor model now. The carbon fiber looking cobra skin is really cool! So stealth and smooth. Look at those car tires, oh boy! will turn heads.
Like the unique color on it. Nice review on cadence vs torque
Glad to see more bikes with full suspension. I would like to see a video of different ways to mount that style of bike especially shorter or people that aren't as flexible like me who wish we could ride a bike like the cobra
Great review of the Cobra . Always informative and truthful in what the bike can and can’t do

Love the torque sensor on the Cobra! It changes the whole experience of the bike and makes it way more enjoyable. It's also a lot safer as well
I like the look, it's ready to do damage on dirt. The tires huge. Very nice .👌
I really like the paint on the bike, yes it might scratch easily but so do cars . It's all about the ride and not worrying about mud or the odd scratch. Bikes are for riding and enjoying yourself.

I really like that suspension , great review as well.
The Himiway Cobra is a rugged looking bike which I love. The bigger the tires the better.
Absolutely love my cruiser. Go himiway!
I've had a Area 13 torque sensor hub drive bike for a couple years. It is always nice when I see reviewers discover the joys of torque over cadence sensors. I wanted a mid-drive for climbing but the one in my price range had a cadence sensor. It was unnatural in the way it responded to pedaling.
I'm a big guy, finally a bike that fit me. Love the color scheme.
Once again, Killed it!! With the video. There are other reviews out there on this bike, but I like your the best! The is no perfect bike out there, but this one has a lot of what I would want in a bike. I wonder if putting the other display on it would make it able to go faster. Anyway sweet bike!

Thanks for the honest review. Sure like to look into Battery compartments, compare how these companies hold the batteries in. To bad, no rack, no good. 4.8 tires, excellent. I want one for Hunting!
this is my next ebike. best fat ebike. great review.
Would make a great hunting rig, but racks, front and back, and fenders are a must. Come on Himiway!
Awesome review! I have two 2016 Radrovers with around 7500 miles between them. I had to modify them being 6'3" and +290lbs (with commuting backpack and rear rack for tool/parts); which, it over its max of 275lbs. I'm due for an upgrade and this might be top of the list to replace the Radrover. I would just have to figure out a rear rack for tools/parts for flats on the single track trails.
Cool bike 👍 great job on the review.
I like the style of it and the carbon fiber looks 👌 its definitely a different looking e bike looks like a great all around bike
Similar aesthetic to the Aventure (which is awesome & looks great) with the bonus of dual suspension & torque sensor instead of cadence. Really sweet ride that may just have to join the stable with my Aventon Aventure!
Nice! I love the rear suspension!
@CitizenCycle925
Жыл бұрын
Really awesome suspension! but I'm sure I said that enough in the video haha
I gave the Aventon level with torque sensor, if you ride in level 1 you can go up to about 14 mph and get far more range than the 31 miles you got around 55 miles plus.
That beard is Legendary
Great looking bike
As an Aventure owner who commutes with it 90% of the time, I'm definitely Team Cadence. Unless it has suitable gearing you're not going to get put the spurs to it top speed out of it. I'd rather ghost pedal @ 33mph. However, if your more of a trail rider, torque is the way to go. Cadence - Bike lane Torque - Trail
Love the bike. That's rhe one I wish I could have . Love it
Nice bike I really like mine. Thinking about buying a Zebra next.
Lol, air compressor to pump up your rear shock, I've actually done that once when I was in a pinch, it can work if you get lucky, but it's really hard to get the the pressure right, you have to over pressurize it, Because by the time you remove the pump from the valve, you already lost too much pressure. Better just to get a $20 shock pump.
Great video Brayan, I think it’s more of a vinyl wrap then it is a paint job. I had asked you some time ago your thoughts on the torque sensor and at that time you were not convinced it was better then a cadence. I have to get a torque sensor in my lineup soon, it just seems better in most ways. Unfortunately my wife has put a limit of three bikes for me . I have to make some tough decision come spring time. Anybody looking for a wife 🤣😝
For rear rack and fenders head over to Cyrusher, the ranger is the same frame and they've got a few accessories for it. Cheers
I hope they bring the Escape Pro and Big Dog with a torque sensor too. The Escape Pro with this upgrade plus the battery from the Big Dog would be awesome. :)
Beautiful country. Absolutely stunning Bike gneeh, C+
Great looking bike with awesome features. It did seem pretty sluggish though. It is a lot nicer looking than the Wicked Freedom. Wish it had that power!
I asked Himiway support recently whether this bike had a torque sensor and said there’s nothing on their site to say either cadence or torque. 2 days they replied. Zebra cadence Cobra torque 👍
I have the cobra pro. I love the bike!

How long have you had it, and has the paint held up well for you?
I agree with most of your review. It seems they are going for the outdoor type not just city rider. So I'd say it should have fenders and rack but past that I feel it should have integrated taillight and a larger battery 30ah. Something I don't think many manufacturers are thinking of yet but I think in the future they will be. Setting the bike up for a hunting/trail trailer. To any manufacturers who might see this send a reviewer two like bikes that compare a cadence sensor vs torque sensor. If you sell both in a model it would probably help sell more of both. There will be people who really like one or the other.

I thought about doing a short video comparing cadence of the Himiway Zebra to torque of the Himiway Cobra..
“Fatter the better” and yeah they look cool but your right they give a more secure ride. See a lot of Himiway around now, as to this one like the hi-grade fork. Looks like these guys are going to establish themselves.
For a newer bike a 52 volt batt would have been nice;but i like the bike as is!!
Himiway Cobra or the Cyrusher Ranger? I can't decide! I'm 6'7" tall. Absolutely excellent review!!!
it has RST Guide forks, so it can sport a 750w front motor if you want to make it AWD
In looking at the seam on the paint job, it almost looks as if it is a wrap instead of paint. When you showed the seam is what made me think so. Peace, Mo
you can take the 40kmh limit off that bike you just need a new lcd display. Himiway officially started putting limiters on their bikes back in 2021, so any bike or lcd display manufactured has firmware on their motherboards to limit your controller. Hope this reaches you because that bike can go a hell of alot faster
I bought the cruiser and put 350 km on it in a couple of days, and i must say its pretty tough💪🏻
Love to install a 29 by 2 tire or the largest 2 in wide that will fit, on the front for a mullet rider.
Yes torque sensor my Hyper Scorpion and Scorpion X has that they are phenomenal! Actually I can key in cadence or torque but I use torque, love torque setting. Keep in mind Tora of Juiced bikes ad this and full suspension along with so many other xtra long before the other manufacturer’s even 52 v 20 ah batteries were standard on his bikes in early days of ebikes. He gets a bad rap and one must woke up to that stigma. That man has done so much to manufacturers to where they are now. Go on line and look at his history from early days. Yeah you know all these bikes have their issues all of them. No manufacturer has clean hands it’s a scandalous business, with no regulation.
Love the lighter camo version but for 2400 it should have a rack fenders and a better screen. I would add a twist throttle too just my preference.

The screen is really good and always visible no matter what the light conditions are. The only thing I wish is showed watts and battery voltage.
I have a question for you. Love the reviews as well. I am looking at either 1. Himiway cobra 2. Wired freedom 3. Yamaha cross core rc which only has 250 watt mid drive. What do you think? I’m going to use mostly road maybe 20% light trail. Hope you can help. Thanks much
Cool bike wish I could afford it. I have a e bike that couldn't hold a candle for that one.
The Himiway Cobra ebike is very nice but I got my eye on the Pro mid drive version which looks awesome!😜

That Himi looks hard just sitting there. I'm looking for a new bike too.
Love the look of the cobra, wish it was 52 volt
Another great review. I really like the design but 88 lbs seriously. Must be the large battery and huge tires. I agree Himiway needs to get a rack available for sure, fenders maybe not so much. I ride a 2019 early 2020 Himiway cruiser and really like the ability to program riding features. But these newer models have been limited to 40 km h which isn't even the max legal speed here in US. My bike easily exceeds 28mph after adjusting the maximum speed to 90 km h. They need to allow these bikes to be unlocked to meet their maximum potential.
@CitizenCycle925

I'll probably unlock this one soon... 😁
I ride my Snapcycle R1 in thick grass like that often for hunting and scouting. Watch out for logs and holes being hidden by the tall grass when going fast in fields like that. I've been over the handle bars more than once. I go slower in thick grass now 😂
It's a gorgeous bike, but I'm only 5'1" so it may be too high for me even with the seat set to it's lowest height. Will they come out with a step over or folding version?
FYI The rear rack and fender accessories are now available on the website!
Love the overview. Thanks a ton! Question - are you able to remove the Himiway sticker on the frame? Just ordered one of these, so just curious. Thanks!

They came out with a rear cargo rack for the Cobra.
See if you have Nireeka send their Nireeka Revenant to you so you can try it, the Cobra and the Revenant look similar, but the Rev is carbon fiber, so it is more responsive and lighter ...
Finally torque sensor much better than cadence sensor.
Hey I really like the Yoto E-bike and it’s basically the Same bike but $300 cheaper than the hemiway normal version(not pro). I enjoy watching your channel. I am thinking about buying either the yoto bike or the hemiway non pro version and I was wondering if you could get the bike and post a video on it and just take it out for a quick ride to test the suspension like jumping it off a curb and getting a good view of the suspension as you jump. Also just on how it’s been and some details on what you like and dislike about the bike. I understand you are very busy with KZread but I would really appreciate if you did this and I would be very happy because there isn’t enough videos out there on this bike. This doesn’t have to be some high quality video that has to be edited a lot. It’s okay if you don’t see this comment because I know you have a lot of subscribers.- Thanks, Your subscriber Colton Monica
I'm an old guy and I've been looking at E-bikes for a couple of years now and himiway always comes up on my radar as one of the better deals. I kind of need to step through bike though because of my hips.
Ditch the quick release front axle, that front tire needs to be locked down. Nice bike otherwise! Another great video!
What’s better this bike or the magicycle deer? Any input from anyone helps.
Ok what's the best of all between the cobra and the wicked bike.....do a comparison
NIce looking bike. 750w is too small though. Especially for the price.
Himiway Cobra what is the maximum speed after removing the blockade from the 250 watt motor🤔🙏
bummer about the front mount battery - shucks that is my deal breaker the other features are REALLY great & a fine trail bike. myself I like the narrower tires. [a personal preference] my MTB has a 2.5 which seems good *for my riding. can the tire size be changed? *my guess is the rims will need to be changed as well {not so easy to do} :( the thumb throttle and other things I like as well, might change to an adjustable or high rise stem? &/or handle bars. but I see the narrow bars are well suited for trails {yeah my idea of trails are often narrow, between trees, bushes, ect} looks to be sweet as it is [just poor battery placement] a rear rack shouldnt be an issue. [thatd be my rear fender] a front fender can be made easily. the wrap is thin & I was surprised it was not so durable. But easily fixed to suit the rider. [a minor thing to replace] as it looks like a wrap, if its a paint job? they really did that wrong, but its fixable.
Great review, I’m glad your showing this bike , there not alot of reviews. I love mine , it handle like a dream . Great design & quality. I only have one complaint & that is the frame should of been built like the cobra pro to atleast allow you to put a mid drive motor in . Nope the crank section is different. Otherwise I’m 100% happy with the quality of build & the range is awsome so is the handling. If your a hard core rider than you might consider a way more exspensive one . The changes himiway has made are all great . Those grip are great , I’m a twist throttle guy & the lt. Side thumb throttle is not a problem. I thought I’d hate it . Lucky you for getting one for the best price!!!! Free
