I love my original 2020 Himiway Cruiser! I am tempted to upgrade to the Zebra in the future. The reason I purchased the Cruiser was because of the weight limit. Now the Zebra has a higher limit but without fenders and rack. I did change the handlebars and stem for a more upright stance, on my cruiser. I am a disabled veteran and have a spinal cord injury that prevents me from walking without help, but when on the bike it is all good! I am approaching 78 years old and Himiway is my exercise every day! I think the upgraded motor would be great to have as well. I have upgraded to hydraulic brakes and it stops fast!

I know that bike ur talking about but the cons on asomtom q7 is the accesories battery capacity no integretade lights if im not mistaken Q7 also on a 48v 15ah battery 740wh so thats why its cost $500 less compare to zebra. himiway zebra goes for 48v 20ah 960wh and its really guaratee to 50miles on one charge between pas 1-3. I do have the zebra and i get 50miles just one charge and i weight 194lbs its still less than they claim but still good range also cant complain since i know that my weight impact the range.

Top little vid bro, But myself would only do electric conversion kits an do my own E-bike, If anything goes wrong then I can fix it it, I have read so many stories of people spending grands on E-bikes an E-scooters an not getting any help when it goes wrong, Plus when you finished fitting the motor an riding it, It gives you great satisfaction, Tho I do understand people not very good at fixing bikes ect, I only know coz when I was a kid, I used to take my bikes apart to put em back together again, lol, Days before mobile phones and PC,s lol, We even uses to climb trees for fun, An make death defying swings, But yeah I learned how to fix bikes ect as a kid so putting a motor on a bike is pretty easy, I'm doing a downhill bike frame up, With a cyc Pro conversion in summer Got buy it bit by bit an fit it when it's all there, But I do plan on doing a video of the build an uploading it, I suffer complex ptsd so got to do something constructive to take my mind off the past traumas, Sim Racing helps aswell but I really wants a downhill Hill bike now...... The irony of the Himiway Zebra being the slowest in the class. I particularly do not like that they’ve made the bike much heavier. What gives? I could maybe understand staying the same weight, but they haven’t added anything that would raise the weight by a ludicrous 10lbs. Dude, that takes away from the improvements in motor, speed, and even better range we should be getting from the better battery. Also the motor should be 1000watts nominal minimal really, but the ridiculous “750” technical Law ruins things for not necessarily speed which it does, but even more importantly torque. If we had access to 1,500watts nominal and of course maxing at way higher we’d all be much safer.

I think another reason for a bottom mount vs top mount is battery size. It'd be very hard to get a 20Ah battery to fit as a top mount on the step over. Much more feasible on the step through model but why make 2 batteries when you can make 1 if it works.

Is there a dent in the frame near the rear tire and pedal or is it like that so the pedal doesn't hit the frame? Almost ordered this bike until I read numerous customer support complaints which seems to be a common with many direct-to-consumer ebike companies. @@ElectricRevolution I saw it, but it was a bit unclear. I think you said you believed it could have gone another 3 or 4 miles? Totaling 30 miles? Maybe more? Would that also be on a hilly road/trail? Your route also adds a lot of elevation gain, so would the Zebra fall in the 60-80 mile range on a level surface? You have some of the most informative and comprehensive videos on e bikes. But, I would love to see two range tests, one on level roads and one for climbing, time permitting of course. Anyway, thanks.

@@cyclon74 Range is always tricky, I've seen some channels where guys get 40 - 50 miles and I'd have to believe they were treating the bike as gentle as possible with soft starts, not a lot of stops, over even terrain. I ride fast and hard to show what you can expect if you take the bike to the limit. I would do two range test's but I just don't have the time. In answer to your question, yes for hilly terrain, I'd say 30 miles for flat trails, I think you could get another 10-15 maybe more. Hills really drain the battery fast on these heavy bikes.

Great review 🚲👌 26 miles with only a thousand feet of ascent at your weight seems like false advertising from Himiway to me! I know that battery tests are done with an 80 pound rider on the flat and with a tailwind but come on Himiway, 60 - 80 miles ... 🙄🤔👎🤷‍♂️ Cheers 👍

Hello because of a good Himiway bike After 3 weeks and about 15 km it is defective (no more pedal assist) After I tried the support they wanted a video from me with the description of the problem, what I had done. The driving assistance via hand throttle worked perfectly, what I showed in the video. And what email came back from China ??? a video how I can speed up the hand throttle illegally, with the statement that they helped me with it ????????? I think the Himiway Service in China can't even watch video properly. I've only had the bike 3 weeks and already have a neck on Himiway. I hope for you that you never have to use the service, because the support in Germany gives the problem also only to China, because nothing else comes from there either. Have fun with your Himiway and hopefully never a warranty case. Hallo

I have three Himiway bikes. One with 500 miles on it. It has been broken for seven months due crank bearings. No help from hemenway after countless E mails and videos. One bike has 38 miles. The hall crank sensor wire got broken on a ride. This is not a warranty due to the fact that I broke it. It has been the same thing no customer service. Now they say the can't get the part due to back orders. How can they have bikes coming in to sell when they say no parts available. Aren't bikes made with parts. Three bike for sale.

@ThunderChicken No I didn't. However, I have found a bike shop that actually carries Himiway. I thought about having them order a Zebra since it has hydraulic brakes, integrated battery, 60 miles range and the wiring in now routed inside the frame. Also $100 off right now. They are advertising it as an upgraded cruiser. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but having a dealership that can honor the 2 year warranty really helps. They are really pushing the Aventon though, only 2 Himiway in stock but a lot of Aventon.

From my experience I found this bike as a big disappointment and wouldn't recommend it to other potential customers. Firstly this company has problems with shipping(parts that I ordered together with a new bike, Himiway managed send to me only 23 days after receiving my payment. Secondly the manual book arrived in the German language. After only like 120 km riding, the kickstand got broken and did not fold out (I used it around 10-15 times) Then the maximum distance that I managed to get on the fully charge battery was 65 km!!!! (With only my weight on it(less than 80 kg), mostly on fully flat roads, with tire pressure 30 PSI and temperature outside 12-15°). The support team would do their best to find any excuse but not the solution, some of the replies from them after sending them messages I received only on the fourth day and only after reminding them about it. On top of that, the bike I bought and received from them was made two years ago. On my question to the support team why the bike already is two years old I still haven't received an answer.
