It's about time this bike gets a review. I own this bike and I really like it. I also own two new RadRover 6+ and although I ride my RR6+more this Big Dog has crazy power the Rad doesn't have. But the RadRover 6+ is a smoother riding bike when it comes to power delivery. The Big Dog has crazy raw power at times but you get use to it.

Great video! This bike is considered heavy at about 80lbs I believe you said. So if you had to pedal the bike without power or move it around it seems like it would be some work. What was it like pedaling the bike without power? What kinds of customer service support do you get if you need assistance and service? How long did it take for you to assemble the bike? And I am surprised you like this bike over the Utopia bike? But, I see your points and this was a very good video and I want to thank you for suggesting that I look at it. You produce excellent content. Thanks BTW, I never heard of this bike before.

Himiway is a reputable brand as far as I know, one of the more popular brands out there, the bike is heavy so that's definitely a concern, you'll need a heavy duty bike rack for sure but for me it was one of the smoothest rides out there. Assembly is about the same for most bikes these days, attach the handlebar, front tire, put on the pedals, charge battery, etc. I like this over the Urtopia simply because fat tires give a smoother ride where as the Urtopia I felt the bumps in the road more since it's tires are thin

Brand reputation is definitely something to consider, in fact I've made it a personal goal to no longer do reviews for lesser known brands from now on to not promote what could potentially be a bad company. The Big Dog's low profile is a winner to me and the top speed can be modified, though I'm waiting to hear back from Himiway on how to do so and what the new speed will be, I believe it'll be 25 MPH. If you end up purchasing a Himiway it helps the channel greatly when you use my link.

@@JacobDarkOfficial I have a Big Dog and like it a lot. I upped the speed from the factory setting and also changed the PAS settings. The top speed with motor assist is 24mph (not 28mph). It comes from factory as Class 2 with top motor assist speed of 20mph. I think changing the PAS settings makes sense since the factory settings are somewhat aggressive. I now have them set 1-7 with a range from 25% to 96%. I changed out the freewheel gear to 11-28 from 14-28 too. I did this because I wanted to be able to still apply pedal power at the higher speeds. I too recommend this bike and appreciated your review.
