That resort looks amazing! With all the beach side pools, you almost don't need to be on the actual beach. I love the interview style with both of you. I love hearing both of your perspectives.

We don’t necessarily have a favorite spot but we do love the outdoors. Visiting national & state parks are high on our list.

Thanks Wally! Yes we definitely have Japan on our list! We actually had a chance last year to go during cherry blossom season, but because of Covid protocols you had to book a premade tour group package and we just didn’t want to do that. But some time we will go 🥰

Amazing video, were are planning to go July 2024 , was the water alway filled with seaweed ? Only asking because I love to snorkel with my son

@vrizwan thank you! Unfortunately the entire time we were there the beach was closed because of the seaweed. I think it’s a seasonal thing? Or maybe just unlucky? Just keep an eye on the news about it and hopefully you’ll get seaweed free beaches!

@laurenlauren5066 you’re welcome! I don’t know the exact amount. We booked a standard nature view room and since we’re diamond members they upgraded us for free, so we never saw the price. I did just look on their website though and it seems to be about a $150 per night difference

Is the spa included in the price or do they charge? How much does it cost?

The spa is not included. They have several packages to chose from. The couples message we did was around $150 per person.

We are going to be there this June....We would not like to stay at Enclave CASA 1....What CASAS do you recommend us ? Where there are less palms to get a nice ocean view from our room ?

If you can swing it then go for the ocean view rooms not the partial ocean views. But honestly we didn’t spend much time in the room and all the pools have great ocean views ❤️

I think the rate is per person but you could call the hotel to verify?

you may have convince me to come here instead of grand moon palace . The service and food seems decent

We haven’t been to Grand Moon Palace, but we definitely recommend Hilton Tulum! The food, drinks, and service was very good overall! The beach was disappointing but it wasn’t their fault with all the seaweed lol

I don’t think we thought about it at all so it must have been good! We do remember them being bad when we went on our excursion to the Tulum ruins but not at the resort at all!

Did you feel safe there, going to and from and venturing out to see the ruins?

There were a lot of people trying to sell you things around the ruins, but because we were on a tour and had a guide it felt safe. I would probably be a little nervous about going just Abbie and I, but not really a safety thing, more just being hounded to buy things and having to say no a lot would be annoying.

Thank you! I have friends that go often to Mexico and went directly into tulum and mentioned the cartel there. Definitely don’t want to go anywhere unsafe. Did the hotel have a place on the beach to sit and enjoy the view?

I haven’t heard of Tulum being unsafe. But I would definitely check with the US state department before you go just to verify. Yes the hotel had a lot of beachside property. At the time we were there unfortunately the seaweed was bad and smelly but otherwise it would have been a beautiful beach! 🤣

are the restaurants all you can eat?

Yes they are! They do have items at some restaurants that are up charges like wines or premium steaks. We never did any of that and the food was excellent 🥰
