Hillsboro's free drive-thru lights display: Lightopia

In 202, during the height of the pandemic, the city of Hillsboro created a free, drive-thru light display to spread some (socially distanced) holiday cheer.
The restrictions of the pandemic are (mostly) gone, but “Lightopia” has stayed. The city plans to keep Lightopia going, and has continued to add new lights each year.
The half-mile, drivable display at the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex includes two light tunnels and various character vignettes, including an “under the sea” theme, a candy land and a snowflake forest.

This is one pandemic-era tradition I'm fine with sticking around. This looks like a fun, accessible event to visit Hillsboro for. I'll have to persuade my folks to consider a visit. :)
