+Sprinkleofwilly I don't mean to get personal at all, but maybe this whole thing would be personal for you if you were LGBT and saw her throughout the 2000's attacking gay marriage, and then see her _change her mind_ when the polls shows it's *POPULAR* to support gay marriage. She has done this through out her political career. The only time she changes her mind is when the polls tell her to do so, so she does to extend her political career. So I ask you this "Is your rights just apart of some politic game?..."

Z-Scart What if she really changed her mind and got educated about it? But like i said, I feel like Bernie is more sincere with his speeches. I am gay so one of the things I look for in a candidate is their views on gay marriage. But I'm not even American haha

+ciel222 If she's one of the great straight allies you are setting a very very low bar for straight allies. How about Bernie Sanders speaking up for gay rights and supporting gay citizens in the 70s and 80s? That's an ally. How many gay kids were hating themselves during the same time period when Hillary was talking about marriage between a man and a woman being one of the "foundational foundations" of our country?

The left thumbed their nose at the Clintons before by not voting for Bill Clinton's Vice President Al Gore, instead voting for Nader, which gave us Bush. Don't pull a Nader again, please!! Also -- Hillary did lots of great things as First Lady -- Children's Health Insurance Program for one [gave 8 million children health insurance]. She'll remind all of these seemingly very young Bernie fans of her real record during the debates. Get your popcorn!!

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg 2 large eggs, at room temperature 1 1/4 cups milk, at room temperature 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more as needed Now to make it 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. 2. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then whisk in the milk and vanilla. 3. Melt the butter in a large cast iron skillet or griddle over medium heat. 4. Whisk the butter into the milk mixture. Add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture, and whisk until a thick batter is just formed 5. Keeping the skillet at medium heat, ladle about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet, to make a pancake. Make 1 or 2 more pancakes, taking care to keep them evenly spaced apart. Cook, until bubbles break the surface of the pancakes, and the undersides are golden brown, about 2 minutes. Flip with a spatula and cook about 1 minute more on the second side. Serve immediately or transfer to a platter and cover loosely with foil to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the skillet as needed. 6. Procedure for adding fruit to pancakes: Once the bubbles break the surface of the pancakes, scatter the surface with sliced or diced fruit, or chocolate chips, nuts, etc. Flip with a spatula and cook for 1 minute more, being careful not to burn toppings.

Regardless of what the Bernie people say here, Hillary has always been fighting for us in every possible way that made sense and has pushed our rights forward strategically over time as attitudes in America changed. Bernie talks, Hillary gets things done. She gets my vote. I'm tired of hearing people talk. Talk is cheap if it's not backed by action. What Hillary did as SOS for her own staff and their partners was action, not rhetoric. It demonstrates exactly what she will do as POTUS.

+LeGrim Reaper It's not ignorant to compare two records and choose the person who advocated for your cause in the 1970s and 80s when there was nothing to gain politically. It's not ignorant to choose a candidate who stood up for human rights when it counted - when very few people were standing up. That's what it means to be an ally.

It didn't matter how she thought in the beginning as long as she says she supports gays now right? ok, never mind about gay rights for a minute, where does she stand on the TPP (trans-pacific partnership), private prisons, breaking up the banks, (and I know she mentioned something like this before but if you really pay attention to her speech she never really is specific in all the financial institutions she's referring to and the ones she is referring to either doesn't exist anymore or is not donating to her campaign) tuition free colleges, (not just affordable lower cost ones) having health care as a right for American citizens, (like having Medicare for people of all ages for example) and i know about her opinion on the Keystone XL pipeline, but why did it take you so long to answer the question? Bernie Sanders gave an opinion, the Republicans gave an opinion (it may not be the right one but at least they answered the question) why would you vote for someone that has been lying and flip-flopping questions on camera or never talking about the real important questions from day one? It only seems she does that as soon as her polls goes down and Bernie Sanders polls go up or when he gets a lot of people going to his rallies and answering the questions

Hillary is a politician through and through. She voted in favor of the DOMA act in 1996 which we so favorably overruled just recently. Meanwhile Bernie Sanders has been in favor of pro gay legislation since the 80'S regardless of how popular or unpopular it was. We need someone who favors overruling injustices as they happen and not "comes around" she the greater majority does as well

I hate when people use the term "flip flop." Everyone has opinions that evolve. I once was 100% pro life. After learning more information I became pro choice. I suspect Clinton has always supported marriage equality internally..but the fact that she states she has learned more information and her opinion has changed should be enough. Clinton can actually win the White House. Sanders can only excite the far left of the Democratic Party. His nomination would be giving the republicans the White House, giving the republicans Supreme Court appointees..etc
