I have this problem but I'm not getting any codes
The light will not go off in our 2012 Ford Taurus sel. Randomly came on and no button to turn it off.

@@HonestMechanicChannel Thanks for replying! We took it to get the abs codes read and nothing came back (no codes).
When I experienced this fault, I completely lost the ability to accelerate. Dangerous.

@HonestMechanicChannel Yes, this problem was a short circuit in the wiring harness to the control module.

This time, it was a failed throttle body.
That part number is for a windshield switch
