Touya is only in charge of affairs that don't concern the girls. Anything they have a stake in, they're in charge. If I understand correctly, candidate #8 (not wife #8) will get turned down by the council, on the basis she doesn't actually love Touya, she only wants his kid.

for the sake of comedy, kind of not. but in the context of a serious discussion, actually yes. the girls do ask whether or not Touya finds the new candidate attractive and such. although there weren't any examples in the story, if Touya doesn't actually like a certain girl as a person, they wouldn't invite her to join the harem even if they approve of the girl. Touya actually does like all 9 of his future wive in that way. it's just that he's reluctant to act in a way that contradicts the values he had when living in Japan, primarily either 1) having multiple wives, and/or 2) have a wife that would still be a child by his old world's standards. and so, despite finding each new candidat attractive, he tried to snip the issue in the bud by rejecting them. and the girls already in the harem are aware of Touya's nonsensical (at least by their world's standards) reluctance, which is why they overrule it if that's Touya's only issue. tldr: he doesn't, but rest assured it's not meant to be in an unhealthy way

Nah, his physique can handle that. Spoiler alert: The current touya is a demigod after dealing with the phrase invasion and rogue god invasion. In the future, touya will transform into a literal world god to replace the old world god (the old god who isekai'ed touya to that world) in overseeing that isekai world. Touya will oversee not only one, but two continent (one continent is his original world while the other continent is from a parallel world) Sauce: i've read the novel until volume 26

I think the studio skip some of the L.N. chapters that should be in the anime. But I think the studio are saving it for an action scene, were Touya and his fiancees that they're using the Frame Gears to fight against the Phrase.

Sorry for the spoiler, but unless they clear a Season 3 the anime is left with nothing resolved. Litterally NOTHING Not the Phrase, Not the wars, Not the invasion, not the 8th and 9th wife explaination there's a lot of missing content also. Especially for the combat scenes and world building. Season 2 felt so rushed that I was honestly appalled. Two episodes were even pointless filler which given how much context was removed was an awful choice to make. Somehow this felt worse than the S1. Also the Design of the Frame gears was utterly lazy compared to their Manga variant, Plus we never even got to see them really be used unlike how the manga portrays their useage. Look I'm happy we got a S2 but how this was handled was lazy rushed and choppy and I in good conscience can't recommend the Anime over it's Manga counterpart because it's just straight up superior by comparison and that's a real shame. MAYBE If we get a S3 it'll contend with all the plot holes and Cliffhanger ending because as it stands now this is REALLY REALLY BAD.

Y'know, this series is actually kind of boring. He's got super strength, reflexs, mana, magic, gamer storage, a phone with eternal full bars/battery that can call other worlds, girls of nobility that just fall over themselves to join in line to be another wife. The only thing that's not mentioned is if the god gave him male enhancement. Everything about this one was done better somewhere else. Sevens was the only harem to ever do the trope right and the BS OP lead was better in Deathmarch to a Parallel World. A god being nice to you as you reincarnate? By the grace of the Gods.
