Setup Port forwarding on router then you can view it on remotely

Is it a same proces with wifi camera?

would it be still recorded if the laptop or mobile are turn off? not connect to wifi? and if my mobile is with me and im outside?

I’ve done everything as you show but 5:00 this step don’t work on a website system cant find the camera by serial number. Any ideas why?

In this setup, does laptop consume internet data to store while recording, or i mean i want to connect pc as nvr, without consuming data, but i will also give internet connection to router so that i can see remotely in app, but this setup should not consume internet data 24/7 to store in pc,

Is your router an PoE router? Or is not a PoE and therefor u use a power cable for the camera?

Late response, but you either need to get an NVR or I believe you can download a Hikvision tool called "iVMS-4200" which I believe lets you view and record footage from your cameras. One thing is the computer would need to be on 24/7. Alternatively, there are Hikvision cameras you can get with a built in SD-card slot, which I assume automatically record to the SD card if enabled.

hi, can you explain it is working till i have broadband internet, once i unplug cable from computer, it stop revording, not even letting view video, or if plug still in computer, but turn off broadband router, it stopped working camera, so camera will work only if you have broadband internet? without internet thrn i need NVR box recoder correct? any explanation will help me, i want instal in my car on the roof. with second battery.

You need a poe switch or connected to the nvr... you cannot power the camera of the ISP router..

Now, please teach me to keep records of the video , after doing the IP Camera setup in this way.
