Thanks Michael. This camera is vari focal so has a lens from 2.8-12mm. A PTZ camera will give you better zoom and focus.

Hi Mansour varifocal is only used to setup the camera to appropriate field of view. Once set will only record and see what is set.

Hi Thuan both optical and digital.

IIRC, it's pronounced "Hike Vision", not Hic-vision". It'd be fantastic if HikVision would allow a regular MP4 download from the cards, instead of the DVR format files. What's the maximum frame rate of these ones at HD? -> they make good fixed-postion cameras for live streaming sporting events.

What is price of camera??

Shame you left out some of its best features, like using the excellent night vision WITHOUT IR and also using the variable shutter speed etc. Don't think you even had HDR switched on by the looks? I have 7 year old Hikvision cams that perform better than this by using correct settings. Darkfighter cams work extremely well with just natural light. You don't just take a Nikon out of a box and click the button, you use correct settings 😂🤦🏻

Hi Lunchos It really depends on where the camera is installed and what ambient light is round. Where we are filming is dark with little ambient light around. Without the IR you wouldn't see much in this scenario. Yes the camera image can be improved by adjusting settings but will depend on the situation. We could possibly do a video showing how a camera is straight out the box vs setting it up properly and seeing what difference that makes. Thanks for the comment 👍🏿
