Such a fun journey. I have a couple questions I'm hoping you can answer 1. What time of year did you go? 2. Did you purchase trekking poles when you arrived? Thank you so much.

Hi! Thanks! We went in early December. I believe we just rented trekking poles in town. There are many gear shops in puerto natales!
I am loving this journey, thanks for sharing with us. I have never been backpacking, and I am wondering do you bring your own stove/cooking system?

Aww thank you! We are so glad you are enjoying the adventure! Yes, we brought a stove and pots to cook with. We rented them in town as we are on a long trip and didn’t want to pack so much of our stuff for the full five months.
