Hiking the Length of the Great Wall of China - 4500km
Спорт
This is the 50-minute film of my epic life-changing journey thru-hiking the length of the Great Wall of China. I swapped my high heels for walking boots and left behind all the comforts of my fairly glamourous life as a model, to embark on my first ever adventure. In 167 days, Tarka L'Herpiniere and I hiked over 4500km, to became the first people in the world to walk continually and unsupported the length of the wall, from it’s most westerly terminus to it’s most easterly. We battled sand storms, blizzards, temperatures from +40ºC to -35ºC, frostbite, starvation, exhaustion and dehydration - narrowly escaping with my life on one occasion.

Unbelievable!
I can clearly say this is the most underrated video in KZread
I always wonder is there anyone who hike all the way full length of Great Wall and here you are. This is so inspiring. Thank you for the clips. I wish it is longer.
You guys went through much to produce this video. You have my utter respect. Would be even better if in HD and longer. Salutations.
Amazing journey, no doubt. I loved the power lines at 32:31
This is so cool. I always wanted to do that as a kid, so its awesome to see someone actually did!

Sadly it’s not the complete wall just a section of it
What an amazing trip, remarkable people. Wow Katie and partner. You showed us sights of this wall especially from the dessert walls ive never seen. I've literally watched 100s of these films. This one is in a league of its own. Ty for sharing this with us.
Very good job!
You are inspirational, great documenery.
We need more of this!
Amazing!!! 👊😲 Hidden KZread gem right here. Going to watch the other vids tomorrow 😀👍
Thank you both. That was awesome. You took me on a journey.
I lost it on a 38 minute. This was incredibly dengerouse moment. This is an insane journey that you both did. Very inspiring and exciting. Thank you for sharing! It is also incredible how this type of tourism has developed and grow for the last 15+ years. Like all the lightweight gear and navigation systems that one can buy today. You would probably have to carry several kilos less and this fact on its own makes your journey even more great and you deserve so much respect for this!
I can’t believe that I’m watching this whole freakin thing.
Great Movie. Big respect!
What an incredible journey!
Amazing story, great effort and work to see it through! This deserves way more views in my opinion.
excellent, this is what i want to look at, well done
Insane!
Amazing always want to do this one day
wow
Look closely at the sadness in the larger dog's eyes? I hope that gives you nightmares. I'm heartbroken by it.
Great effort i love your passion. I am from India and I want to talk with you.
isnt the legnth of the great wall 21,000km?
This looks way harder than any of the long trails in America. And a 35 kg pack on a 70 kg woman sounds like hell.
Thanks for this beautiful calming video you have inspired me to go to China
Watching the film I continually have to ask myself why no waterproof boots and no safety ropes for some of the climbing. She could have easily died on some of those risky climbs.
Natal Sharks sticker! On Katies car? South African?
Can't be all bad when you have cigarettes lol
The great wall is over 21,000 miles long, not 4500 km.

No it's around 13 thousand miles and 22 thousand kms
🙄 more about her than anything else

It's a video about her journey. Not a documentary about the area. And this is her channel 🙄
The narrator is so thirsty for Katie.
You should have just bought a t-shirt and kept your explanations to yourself. Why deny them their way of making a living? And as far as never seeing an animal maltreated? I'll mention once again 39:51. Why would you have even filmed that? I'm seriously asking, if you have the guts to answer?
This is what America needs on it’s southern border. 🇺🇸

Yep! And, start it below ground to keep them from digging under it. Maybe use some kind of seismic sensors to detect digging. I don't know...

😂😂😂 im dead bruh you had to do it huh
The narrator's voice and narration are so irritating..spoilt the video...the whole trip seems very ill-prepared
