Still to this day I'm not able to fully comprehend how gigantic of project that is. I dont think the world will see anything quite like this in the future when it comes to its sheer size and scale. Truly remarkable.

This documentary has made me feel horribly homesick for China, even though I had immigrated to the US at 4 (I'm 37). I have to admit to feeling a little jealous of Mr. Lindesay for getting to make it his permanent home.

Same here. I grew up in SF and still work and live in the city. 5 decades now. America is not the same America I grew up. Was great then. Not anymore.

great admiration for your true dedication of discovering journey into these long dragons of China.

For long time I have not seen such a great documentary. Well Done for Mr. Lindsey and his filmmaker friends.

The section of the wall I've visited was in the area that has been rebuilt about 30 miles outside Beijing. Climbing the wall is a lot more of an athletic event than one would imagine and the irregularity of the steps and the angle of climb can make you glad for the handrails. There was a monument commemorating the building of the wall that included the workers who built it. Xie Xie!

Been to Beijing 6x; never been to the Great Wall Now I know I can visit the Great Wall elsewhere. Thank you!

Finally someone with knowledge explain the great wall. Thank you get factual. Your content is qing from the heart not like any other fake stories roaming in this world.

Thank you for an exceedingly interesting program. I remember reading a book about the Great Chinese walls about 15 years ago that made the point that it is composed of many different walls built by different rulers.

Very informative and at the same time humorous!

Seeing this docu. Reminded me of how hardworking ancient Chinese are! Then you can tell this present china how progressive they are now

i grew up in the Caribbean and is still here with some permanence. After six decades I can relate to the great wall of China in as much, the main Pencils used for writing was marked :MADE IN CHINA: with an inscription of the great wall.

This was great documentry I'd love to ask questions but I'll need to research

When he was young, he was a thrill seeking man and China was on his bucket list. He made a name for himself trekking the Great Wall alone and was credited for raising conservation awareness of the historic monument.

Fyi, he’s not an archeologist and his Chinese is poor. So not particularly an authority on the subject.
