Beautiful as always! I really enjoy how you let the scenes speak for themselves, rather than feeling the need to tell us that an obviously epic view is epic!

The "Bordes" are old buildings that were used to store live stock or food for the live stock, they were never villages although they seem so. Nice series btw! I'm watching all of them

Nice editing! Keep up your excellent work💯. You can also put some extra stuff, such as altitude variations, names and info of famous places(tops, passes, rivers, gorges) during your trekking tour

Yeah I think the route was changed there or something. My guidebook told me to go to refugi de Comapedrosa, but my GPS directions to Refugi del pla de l'estany. I chose the latter and didn't regret it. It was one of the most beautiful places on the whole GR11.

@@OscarHikes it was a rainy day for me (the only one actually) and when I got to the Refugi de Comapedrosa I had the best meal of my whole trip! (mountain rice hmm) The arrival to the Refugi de Baiau is spectacular ... but you have to watch your feet rather than the view

Thanks, It'll be posted tomorrow. ;) My perfect breakfast on the trail consised of oats mixed with nuts, dried fruit, and peanut butter, with a bit of hot water on top to mix it all together. Healthy and a lot of calories. Unfortunately, the smaller stocks in the Pyrenees don't stock peanut butter and oats, and sometimes not even dried fruit, so I was stuck with baguettes, cheese, or whatever I found in a lot of mornings. In the evenings I ate couscous, quinoa, or rice mixed with textured soy, lentils, or beans and a bit of olive oil and spices. But again, the smaller shops mostly just stocked pasta and lentils, which I ate about 70% of the time. During the day, I ate quite good at start (nuts, dried fruit, fuits, e.t.c.) but towards the end I was losing a lot of weight so I switched to a diet of oreos, cupcakes, cookies, e.t.c. :D

Hey Oscar, I want to do a part (around 1 week) of the GR11/GR10 in June, mostly camping. Which part was your favorite or would you recommend for that?

There are a few, but nothing to worry about. You still have to hide food from wild boar.

no haha :D She could only get two weeks of vacation, so she had to leave early! It's actually the reason why we started from the east side. On paper, it looked like we'll be reaching the higher mountains quicker, and she wanted to spend as much time there as possible. In reality though, much prettier alpine scenery unfolds quicker when starting from the west side, so if we'd do it again, then definitely start on the west side.
