Wow this looks awesome. Some fabulous landscapes and some dodgy bits but all part of the "fun". Cool seeing the goats come for a nosey and seeing iconic Swiss cattle. It certainly a hike out I would enjoy and I'm sure it's one you will never forget 🙂

This one is even quite hermit friendly, aside from the segment Aescher to Ebenalp. That segment is very busy due to the cable car. The rest has barely any traffic. Thank you for watching 😊

Hi, Mr. & Mrs. H4H Wowow I see a lot of work on filming, for instance changing angles. I always fancy the sound of bells that remind of me the children's movie "Heidi" haha 1:31 OMGoodness, I was just thinking about the rocky hiking trail and boom ragged rock cliff shows off. 2:00 Gorgeous landscape. I love your shot of this flag waving in the air 2:04 It reminds me of hike up to hike to Chimney Rock you may have seen in K7S' collection The bird-eye view is perfect!!! 2:32 This spectacular appearance is a great treat to the audience! What??? OMGoodness. I thought of birds for sec, but they are paragliders on the right shoulder? Incredible to see those piled rocks 2:53 They are almost art to me I rarely see you two hiking together in your films. Why don't you zoom in a little hehe 3:04 if your intention to sell your characters a little bit more in my opinion hahaha, don't they give you a joy as they surround you? 4:24 Wowowowow...you are making my legs shaky 4:49 my jaw dropped! 5:39 Are you addicted to challenging hiking trails??? I really appreciate your panoramic view as if you took m with you. This gives me goosebumps. 8:09 Superb!!!!! Well done to this film! I really appreciate it. Sorry that I took so long to comment.

Hi @ms.kayak7seas. Don't worry about taking your time. We always appreciate anyone watching, no matter when. Heidi is a common theme here in Switzerland, so no wonder you get reminded of it. Even when arriving at the Zurich airport, you might get treated to a moment of Heidi. The birds are indeed paragliders. It made getting drone footage quite difficult and I couldn't fly to some of the places I would have loved to. Their presence makes it almost impossible to fly, as their safety has the highest priority. The stacked rocks are also a form of meditation, as far as I know, but you will often find them in the mountains as guides for the path. In this case, it is more a novelty. Hiking together is something that should indeed get shown more often. Most of the times it is either one of us filming the other. We barely do camera placements and moving back / forward to capture shots. Maybe we should do that more often. Regarding the dangerous hiking trails. We are actually quite careful about our behavior on trails. The trails here are marked as white-red-white, which is the standard mountain trail in Switzerland. There is a level above this, white-blue-white, which usually refers to proper alpine hiking. We mostly focus on the beauty of the places we visit, not the thrill attached to it. What we noticed, however, is that many people go to the mountains, even if they are unprepared. It can be really dangerous and still you will see people in simple sneakers or sometimes even sandals on top of mountains. We mostly warn of the dangers here, so that people don't underestimate the risk. If you are careful, I'd say the trails are save. But as mentioned in the video, multiple people have died on these paths. It is a very popular attraction and so many people come here without preparation. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching. We really appreciate you taking the time and providing insightful feedback. We take every bit of it to heart and hope to improve with every step.

Thank you so much for this amazing feedback. We use Davinci Resolve (the Studio version, which is paid, but the free version of that is already awesome). The rest ist all about the cameras and lots of practice. Happy to give you a few tips if you have some concrete questions. The editing also takes a LOT of time. For this one, I spent about 7 hours of editing. Sadly, that still means often more time editing than watchtime :(

What a lovely hike...I guess those impressions will be lasting. What a beautiful area. It's everything I thought Switzerland would be. Good to see a helicopter is available in emergencies. I'm so overwhelmed by the views. Beautiful. I've missed watching a while. Been very busy, but I am back! Thanks for this incredibly beautiful video. 🙏🌺😎🇳🇱🙋‍♀🇳🇿

The Rega is indeed doing a great job protecting all kinds of people in the mountains. If you go hiking in the Swiss alps, its good to keep their number at hand. The swiss alps are really wonderful. Similar to the south Island of New Zealand, the mountains are just always a treat. Thank you for watching. I hope you had some lovely travels.

The goats were so fun. But my favorite remains the cow just chlling on top of Ebenalp, enjoying the views. We both love living Switzerland, as these mountains are just so spectacular. But we can't offer any of these pretty castles in the alps. We do have some around, but I guess we can't compare to the British Isles. Thank you for watching and your kind words. It means a lot, given the troubles we currently face to gain any traction.

Regreso unas 2 horas. Pero tomamos muchas fotografías y filmamos.

"inexperienced hikers frequently lose their lives here" it's not just inexperienced hikers. I know that at least one of the hikers that died last year was Swiss and extremely experienced, but accidents happen. that's the risk that comes with the sport and it's a mistake to think that because you're experienced it certainly won't happen to you

Thank you for pointing it out. I 100% agree that experience doesn't guarantee safety. The statement was only asking for caution. Too often we see people on the trails that are careless or badly prepared. Safe hiking 🥾
