After a good hike from Khare, we started the climb to Zatrwa La pass at 4610m. We had snow and hail and some of the snow cowered hills was very slippery with half melted snow ower ice. We felt it was very unsafe to cross, just thinking of lose grip and sail down the snow slopes, which was steep and long, it just dissappeared in the mist some hundred meters down. At this time we did not have the crampons anymore. After arriving Thuli Kharka, and heard it was more to come, and worse tomorrow, we decided to check for helicopter transport next day. We felt it was a rescue mission.
