I don't get it, drivers are well aware they are going to face snowy conditions on the roads. Does anyone believe in snow tires or chains? It is the same old story every winter. People are not prepared and they need to learn how to drive.

There's no replacement for heavy chains on a truck. Putting them on and taking them off requires stops and drivers don't wanna do that, especially the inexperienced ones.

What about a tunnel?

The Weather Channel is going down the same path as MTV when they stopped playing music. You won't find any weather on the weather channel anymore.............. Instead you get these manufactured drama tv shows about truckers on ice or stupid gold hunts. Go elsewhere if you want a weather forecast.
