Unfortunately, POINTFEST 2022 had to be postponed because of the severe weather in the St. Louis area on Saturday, but we still had a chance to chat with a bunch of artists playing the show including HIGHLY SUSPECT. Johnny Stevens and Ryan Meyer chat with Donny Fandango about the new single coming out on June 22nd, Ryan (and his brother Rich Meyer) moving to Nashville, bowling and watching rock bands, having to apologize to Gary Clark Jr, and everyone shares some moments of geeking out around other musicans.

My nerd moment was with Johnny! 2015 I'm face to face with him. All I can say is uhh, ummm I, I, I love you. kicker is this didn't happen once, not even twice. 3 times, 3 different shows!! Really, I still think there is a restraining order against me in my home town!

I did the same when I met them in 2019, I told Johnny, "I''m a huge fan" at least twice. He finally just looked at me and said I don't know, I'd say you're kinda short. LOL. Mind you I paid for VIP so clearly I was a fan and it didn't need to be said. As they were talking about that, all I could think was, I bombed it.
"We wrote probably the best album any of you have ever heard" 🤯🤯🤯 If Johny says that, I trust him!! OMG I'm watching this on june 21th, so excited!!!
Just saw them in Philly on Saturday was a complete moron that I haven't seen them before now. Amazing guys just doing their job and just effin rocking it out
Highly Suspect is just incredible. The older dude 🙄“interviewing” them was such a wrong cringe fit, frustratinglythat happens more often it seems nowadays, it could just be me- however it’s a true testament of the amazing artists & humans they are. Dear Highly Suspect, THANK YOU for original “UNcanned “ unique music that feels like if I were able to eloquently put into words & vibrations the effed up mess my lonely head has always been, but - especially lately - … this is right along the lines of what your music speaks back to me, when I hear Highly Suspect. If I knew IRL “real” people like that …. I can only imagine. Wish they’d come to MisZOOla MT. You can’t rush ACTUAL ART or music & making anyone feel guilty for that is unnecessary & it’s not as if it’s been 12 years or some shit! 🤯 ♾☮

90 pound weight gain on 5'8 frame. Combo of junk food during quarantine after breaking his ankle two years ago. you can be healthy and chubby. He is not healthy after living on pure junk. (he kept sharing his binges on isntagram and twitch)

@@sexytechreviews_ He also is sober now, though. so while he gained weight over COVID he also is sober, which means he is chubby but he’s healthier now that he’s off drugs.

@@collinmackin5911 I know all that, thanks, the problem is is that his diet is incredibly unhealthy. Transfats, no protein, and lots of fructose. I'm a health researcher and that's just as bad longterm. He needs to stay on his medication for his biploar disorder. That's his best hope.

@@sexytechreviews_ person to person with meds. some of it makes them worse. no one NEEDS to stay on this or that. Drinking and everything amplifies bipolar and depression. I was on meds for 10 years. I tried a few times to take my self out. woke up in hospital, snuck out to finish and got stopped halfway home.. ive been off meds for 2 years now and sober, and im okay without. You can't speak for everyone. When your brain is healing and rewiring itself after being sober for x amount of time a lot of people come out better than they were before hand

dude broke his leg, became sober, and it all happened during a period when we all couldn't leave our house. When you end up doing nothing but sitting on the couch waiting out recovery and a pandemic, that is what happens.

They made a lot of money and the man is eating a lot. Refer to Jared from Bowling for Soup, the guy was like 160 pounds. Then disappeared and resurfaced weighing 300 pounds saying he ate the rest of the band lol.
