They're superior to most of the musicians that create new music but... The greatest? You have to watch and listen to a bands growth and maturation. Take a listen to The Beatles or Tool. Johnny is an incredible person with insight and creativity. Long live Terrible Johnny.

Saw them in Portland, OR recently. My wife and I named our newborn daughter after their song “Lydia”. Shes beautiful. Thanks you guys💜

Really enjoyed this interview. Going to see them for the first time Dec 2nd in PHX,AZ. Sold out the venue…I noticed a few other North American dates are sold out too…also I can understand their lyrics from the few stories Johnny told.
That was the best yet, what cool guys, I am now hooking up all the music from Highly Suspect, have been a fan from the tunes The Rock plays, I also need the Johnny jacket. Jay and Dunc were the only two hosts to do this interview, what a blinder. More shit like this thanks!!!😍🎸

Johnny is like my age and has so many of the same influences.... and he's fucking killing it. I cannot deny Highly Suspect is a fantastic band. Maybe the last remaining great rock band. Love their music.

Used to love this band but was sorely disappointed by the 3rd album, I’ve never been able to see them the same. That being said it’s so cool seeing Johnny in an interview, he was my teenage idol lol
Also ik no one’s cares but this is so funny bc the whole reason I went to the muse concert was bc when I searched highly suspect at the time that’s all that came up & my bf was the one who told me who muse was & I respect them a whole lot now, but I mainly went for highly suspect && evanescence, the catalyst to my love of rock music 🖤🖤🖤

i get what you mean, he sure has a lot of regrets of past bad choices, i think what defines that "off" vibe for me is that he still isnt quite sure what the right choice would be if another bad thing comes up, and he has expressed not knowing quite what to do yet.

He’s not a bad person , he has a huge heart, and he shares his internal struggles with us through his lyrics which resonate with so many which is what makes Highly Suspect so awesome. He’s not wearing any masks to make himself seem good, if anything it would be quite the contrary. However, He is smitten with NZ, so you guys likely got to see Johnny in rare form. You guys really left an impression and I totally get why, what’s not to like in NZ?

Johnny is an amazing guitarist. He’s and Highly Suspects early songs and first 2 albums are legendary. He couldn’t been a rock god with he’s band, but decided to be a face tatted ring tone rapper, far left political preacher of the mainstream media. And got fat and out of shape
