    I love the bassist's finger picking techniques. Very unorthodox, but really helps him get the right kind of accent on each note.

    Glad to hear the Stonewall reference. I had him build me a set with a Tele style bridge and a humbucker in the neck, and they are one of the most balanced pickup sets I have ever tried. Not to mention the sound; they are incredible!

    I saw them live a few days before this video was published. Johnny was wearing that jacket...same time of year...it almost looks like this video was shot inside marathon music works in Nashville. Very similar iron work on the ceilings and the columns out on the floor. Cool.

    I've made a few guitars. That's super rad that you're doing that. Necks are very hard to make. I have done a couple but I do like warmoth ones better

    Scatter wound pickups, wound by hand do produce more clarity. "lowered distributed capacitance allows for more high end to come through while increasing clarity. It also increases the resonant peak and extends the frequency response (which is part and parcel of the clarity and dynamics). The pickup sounds more complex, more open and clear, and louder by the nature of these combined characteristics."

    People that hate fuzz(&I like JB's playing) just don't understand how to get the right sounds out of them.You can get the BEST clean tones using Ge Fuzzes, with the volume rolled off(for ex.).

    Mark Ferguson yes a good fuzz can sometimes not fuzz. The real trick, is to have all that AND have something that sits in the mix as opposed to dominating it.

    Those guitars sound pretty nice, but I have to objectively say ,- purely from a design perspective,-they look effed up, especially that god awful headstock.Don't want to discourage, so, - by all means,- keep trying.Fender definitely dosen't have anything to worry about there. Same "secrets" as about 20,000 other guitarists.

    That is the ugliest head stock I've ever seen! But I really like the rest of the bass especially the finish on the body! He, Rich, seems very nervous..... Is anyone else noticing that?

    I love this band, but idk why, I find that bass player really annoying. Like he tries to tell the dude what he’s gonna show him before he even asks, then whenever he’s asked a question about something interesting, he’s just like “yeah...” and all the boring shit he goes pretty far into
