This is a really good video but as someone said it is not the whole thing. It is 20 minutes long and really does have some good strategies for guidance. It can definitely be done with 20 kids. I know it's not all roses and throwing confetti and kumbaya in the classroom as much as we wish it could be every day, but guidance strategies like these make the classroom so much more regulated. I love using this video for my community college students.

Hmmm. It looks like there are only 10 children in her circle time. What a dream! These mock classrooms they set up for these videos can be so unrealistic. I have 26 4-year-olds in my class. Two that are on the spectrum, one that has not been diagnosed but clearly is, and two English language learners. My assistant has no previous experience or education in ECE. Please make a video in a more realistic setting, that would be helpful.

I'm sorry, but it is your setting that needs to change! In what world is this even legal?

@@user-ly4ww3vm5t agreed that it needs to change. But like it or not, it's legal. And for many teachers this is an every day reality. However, no one posts videos on how to manage those situations.

Yes, but try using this in a classroom with 18 preschoolers...it's easy to reinforce good behaviors in kids who are already engaged. I want to know how to make the challenging kids to engage in better behavior!
