What looks like an easy victory, don't forget that the US usually starts worlds tasteless and uninspired. The question is whether it is smart to send a team with more "name knowledge" to worlds than the previous three years, which mostly consists of juniors. If this is what the US will offer, it would have been better to send over their U16-U18 Team as they both have more speed and talent.

There are many matchups between teammates from the NHL here. Minnesota, Detroit, Tampa and maybe more. You always side with the team you are playing for in the game. Boldy and Ek had some moments in this one for instance because they both want to win despite being NHL teammates.

The editing and compiling of these highlights from the IIHF is unfathomably bad. I don't understand how it can be this way. They don't show the first goal at all and then they show the two last goals in the open net and on top of that, the last face off and seconds of the match. And can't they make them a couple of minutes longer??? Sucks balls... This is pretty common in sports highlights production unfortunately, is it maybe some crappy AI editor to blame?

Looks like the gold draught continues for the US of A.
