With just five weeks remaining before the FedExCup Playoffs, the PGA TOUR heads to the Quad Cities for the John Deer Classic. Jordan Spieth returns to the John Deere Classic for the first time since 2015. Spieth is a two-time winner at TPC Deere Run including in his last appearance nine years ago when he shot a third-round 61. Spieth’s 2013 victory at the John Deere Classic was his first TOUR title. Reigning champion Sepp Straka aims to become the first repeat winner since Steve Stricker won three in a row from 2009-2011. The Austrian is currently 17th in the FedExCup standings and has four top-10 finishes so far this year. Jason Day is another contender with four top-10 finishes in 2024 and returns to TPC Deere Run for the first time since 2011. Day has never missed the cut at the John Deere Classic in five appearances, with his best finish (T15) coming in back-to-back years, 2009-10. Other names to look out for this week include Sungjae Im, J.T. Poston, Jake Knapp, Aaron Rai and Joel Dahmen.

And if they showed a lot less of his highlights you kids would be doing the opposite and crying that Spieth just shot 63 and they hardly showed any of his shots.

They show the clips in chronological order and because Jordan was so far down the leaderboard his Saturday tee time is much earlier than the other guys in the lead who tee off last.

Wow, some seriously low scores this week. Clanton continues to play great golf.
It makes me laugh reading those comments back a year or 2 regarding Clanton and how he should join Good Good... That kid was always going to make it!
Saw about 2 minutes of Spieth and 8 minutes of everyone else, except for his eagle putt… Idk what yall are on- he was the only highlight from the early groups

I don't know why but I've had discussions about the PGA and mostly everyone feels this crop of PGA players just don't get people excited to watch or play. Why??? I don't know.

Question about Luke Clanton. Why is he still an amateur? I've seen him in other professional tournaments. Why is he not waiving his amateur status? Or does it work differently with the US PGA?

He’s still at Florida State I’m pretty sure, and this is his first year on tour. You’re an amateur you’re entire first year and aren’t eligible for any purse money
