The must see of North Iceland, Part 2. We are exploring further the northern part of this amazing country. If you think Iceland is all about nature, think again because it is rich in tradition and history. And we encountered so many wonderful wildlife during our trip to this region. -Akureyri, the largest city in the north of Iceland with charming architectures
-Mánárbakki museum, a tiny private museum owned by an old couple, containing antique Icelandic items from times gone by
-Glaumbær, an old Icelandic farm house turned into museum with authentic traditional turf roof design
-Horse petting, we did it in a small horse farm just outside Akureyri, but you can do it practically anywhere as long as you don't disturb them
-Whale watching in Húsavík, the Icelandic capital of whale watching (check out our whale watching video for the full story)
-Hvítserkur, a nature protected coastal area many seals call home, but be careful of the aggressive birds nesting on the ground
