This was easily one of the most intense rugby game ever for me, easily so far this year. England with their rush defence is overwhelming. Itoje was literally a thorn all game against us, along with Marcus Smith kicking game. Contained the All Blacks throughout the first half and dominated by keeping the AB in their territory for the first 20 mins in the second half. Until Beauden Barrett came on with his magic and changed the game entirely. All it took was one Barrett to break England game plan that kept AB shut within their own half. Sensational performance from him, he most likely read the game England were playing when he was watching on the side line before coming on. This All Black team will improve on what that need to work on, they held on strong tonight and I'm proud of that. Up the All Blacks. Mighty performance, and kudos to England for a great game.

@@Nkanyiso131 At the moment of now, I think the AB will be emerging as challengers against those teams, each of those teams have a unique style of playing rugby and just hope in given time, we can match and adapt to them as we try to play our rugby style. The AB will be on the backfoot I reckon and will be challengers when they versus England at Twickenham later on. You can never underestimate England at home, given what happened in 2022. England had the better game plan today; they would have won it if BB didn't come on. These future games will be close, but I'm backing my AB all the way of course.

Finally, someone else notices. All his inconsistencies and poor decision making will be overlooked because of his 2 tries. But man, he is such a liability. He has no idea how to tackle, no idea how to make sure he has support. He isn't even that fast, he's just slippery and hard to bring down. AND he still dots the ball down with two hands instead of under the arm like you're taught from an early age. He's going to cost us a game sooner or later. I think it would be best for Stephen to still start 15 at usual. That way, Beauden will be able to read the game when he is on the side line, so that once he comes on, he will know what to do and deliver a performance like that. Stephen is a natural for 15, England were just so good on defence in containing him most of the times.

I think with Finley, his strength lies elsewhere, which is reading the game and being attentive of the defence, his box kicks are fairly good as well. He more of a very balanced 9 if you don't compare him to other 9's. Since he pale in comparison to other 9's in most areas of what makes a 9 so great, he can still get the job done. I can understand why since he doesn't have the firepower and speed to put the AB through the English defence, like Perenara or Aaron Smith. Have to credit the English for their defence to be fair.

I think with Beauden and ALB in the team you can rotate almost all of the backline week on week making sure players stay fit all season. I think it's worth thinking about this team as not a 1st 15, but a 1st 23

Some how we escaped England to win the series 2 - 0 if Owen Farrell had been playing it would have been the reverse - although Smith did have a second test blinder England were collosial - they lost because of inexperience and B Barrett - most of the top teams are rebuilding after last years world cup - we have lost the worlds premier locking duo and geez did that show up our deficiencies - we know why Robertson wanted Whitlock back Itoje almost single handley turned the match for England - he schooled us in the air and in disruption Finau Christie Perofeta will have to move on Ioane is off to the wing or out altogether - he cant pass or create space at 13 - sure its harder to cope with rush defences Lets try Proctor - put Blackadder at 6 Savea at 7 and Sititi at 8 When hes fit Roigard 9 with Ratima Jordan back on the wing when hes fit B Barrett at 15 and work on getting Mounga back for the northern tour where we face England Ireland France - we will lose all 3 if we start the same 15 as last night We also have 2 back to back tests with SA in SA they are 2 straight against us - they havent lost any notable starting players with retirement - and we also have a resurgent Australia under Schmidts - Im tired just thinkin about it Great start ABs lots and lots to work on ❤
