As far as my first Rapids game, as well as seeing Messi play in person, I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better game. Yea it would’ve been nice for the Rapids to get a win, but their inevitable next meeting against Miami will be that much more hype. My favorite player Maxsø played a fantastic first half, being a menace for Campana. And seeing Bassett beat a player like Busquets to the ball for a goal was inspiring. Not only that but everything I admire about the Colorado Rapids was showcased in this game. Unfortunately we had to leave the stadium before we got a chance to meet the players, but I’ll get another chance one day hopefully.
