Italy has been a bully this tournament: Merciless against the weak and wimpy against the strong. They deservedly didn't get promoted, and as long as they keep playing like this,they hopefully never will.

It's amazing that Korea, the team being relegated, got their only win against Slovenia, the first team to ensure their promotion. This game wasn't a great example of how evenly matched this tournament was, but that fact still is.

Yup! Romania struggled to find themselves at the beginning of the tournament, losing 1-6 twice, but then they managed to get 3 tight wins. Korea is something similar, just with less success and different chronology: Two big losses (against Hungary and Italy) + 3 competitive games, all being toss-ups out of which only one went their way. (which unfortunately led to their relegation) It's fascinating that outside these 4 games mentioned above, the 10 remaining games (Hungary vs Slovenia can make it 11) ended up with goal difference of 2 or fewer. Extremely packed division. Going into the last day, 3 teams were in the race for the last promotion spot, and 4 teams had a realistic chance of getting relegated. Unimaginable in lower divisions.
