Austria scores FIVE unanswered 3rd period goals on Canada, Canada wins in overtime

Спорт

Canada went into the 3rd period with a 6-1 advantage on Austria. Unbelievably, the game went to overtime. Luckily for the Canadians, John Tavares found the winner just 15 seconds into the extra frame.

There is no need to. Sure it would have been the icing on the cake, but a tie against CAN is great for a country like ours. The way it happened feels like a victory and probably the greatest thing we will ever accomplish at this level. So proud for our boys ❤ And yes, we all know its not the best of the best from CAN, still there are some lvls between this 2 teams. Just unbelievable!

That 5-unanswered goal run was simply amazing. I can definitely see where even though Canada won, this was a win for Austria on a large scale. Austria is one of those countries that's not been known for its strong hockey, so it's great to see them performing this well. @@Puckhog Ya, Got over 1100 games played and over 1000pts, for close to a point per game pace over his career. You've got a pretty weird definition of loser. Apparently you don't know how hard it is to do that in the NHL. Only 98 players all time since the NHL has started have reached 1000pts in their careers, and one of them is Tavares. You have no clue what your talking about.

@@bradbradbury8561 he doesn't have over 1000 pts and he's not a point a game player, no one is disputing that, it's about the playoffs and winning cups and he's only made it to the 2nd round 2 times and was knocked out early both time, it's about playoffs performance and winning cups, and being on in your face we not gonna lose leader. He hasn't played the game you need to play in the playoffs to win cups or rounds. I guess you're a fan who only cares about in seasons stats. He's too soft to lead a team to the ultimate prize, hence why they're trying to get rid of his slow ass deteriorating game. So hopefully he gets traded next season 🤞
