Apart from the first 25 minutes of the canes destroying them, the rest of the game was fairly balanced really, both teams plenty of penalties and handling errors giving the ball away etc , bur the damage was well and truly done by that point !

Super Rugby All-Time Scorer #9 Perenara (63 Tries in 158 Matches) is just insane! Waratahs need to take a long hard look at themselves getting pumped like that by an under-strength Canes! Having a truly awful season alongside the Western Force, argument to be made that AUS can't sustain 5 Super Rugby Teams esp in a country that clearly loves the NRL & AFL a lot more?!

They need to sustain 5 teams to maintain participation and give a wide group of players playing time and opportunity to develop their game while they rebuild the National squad for the next RWC in Australia. The biggest problem has been the ARU administration and Eddie Jones in recent times that has damaged the code. Really they just need to get back to basics to just focus on developing and keeping the player base. We know that Australia is capable of producing the players and have a good past record to prove it. From a NZ point of view.

@@Blinklord Mate, in the last 10 seasons, Highlanders who've been NZ's worst team have been to the QF Stage at least 7 times going through to the Final twice winning one. During that time, they've produced a bunch of notable ABs; Aaron Smith, Ben Smith, Waisake Naholo, Malakai Fekitoa, Shannon Frizell etc. How does the Rebels/Force Play-Off Record compare?!

A bit of a shame that kirifi has been pushed out, the way he’s captained the Wellington NPC team The last couple years he’s been an absolute monster ! Just dominating any and everyone, he’s an absolute beast. Wheneve he comes off the bench he makes a huge impact so the canes are spoilt for choice !

Attendance was on par with the URC average for last season and the game I went to a few weeks ago was higher than the average for any European competition. The stadium can hold 10% of Wellington's population, that's the issue, you're only going to see those numbers for a final or for a test match, the latter of which is what the stadium was built for.
