What downfall? Arsenal women are top of England league and only English team to qualify for UCL quarter final. We are very successful and massive. One or two defeats dont define downfall lol.

They getting smashed is inevitable. They have finished 2nd. If Chelsea win the group, they will likely have only 2 options, PSG or likely lyon. Either of those teams beats them, it's non negotiable

Hoffenheim putting performance of their lives? LOL. It's how Hoffenheim usually play. I'd say their offense isnt even as fluent as it was last season. Hoffenheim are top 3 in Frauen Bundesliga which is still best league in Europe. And right now it's the most competitive league with very tight top 4/top 5. Hoffenheim beat both Bayern and Wolfsburg. And 4-0 in the first game was flattering for Arsenal as Hoffenheim could've scored 3-4 goals themselves and pressured Arsenal very well. So not surprising result in this game.

arsenal's defence is so poor .....

Why I feel like Viv Miedema is having Aubameyang's syndrome lately? She is not like she was last season. Really dropped in her performance. Barely to score goal in every game. This season, we depend more on Beth Mead. When she is not perform well, we don't have alternative upfront to score goals and it already shown in the last 3-4 games after the FA Cup final.

I don't understand why we play S.Catley as a CB again after we were terrible in the air on every crosses during Barcelona games when we have Moy, Schnaderbeck and Sorensen on the bench? And Beattie ... I can't remember when was the last time she played well for us. Stop giving excuse we missing of Leah Williamson. We have another 4 defenders. If we can't use any of these defenders, might as well, we sell them all next season and get a proper CB. How many days our players have not been eating? Very weak, slow and lazy.

When I see Beattie name to start I get nervous been shocking all season OK against your Birmingham & Leicester but against any top team in Europe, , her lack of pace and poor distribution Is a liability . 😪 🤭

i love how WSL fans think just their league and teams are competitive, last season chelsea struggling with Bayern and smashed by Barca and this season Arsenal smashed by Barca and Hoffenfeim fighting till the end

Yes, that's surely the problem, Roy Keane...20 year olds spending time on social media just like every other 20 year old on the planet is the problem. Or maybe they don't "hate" their opponents enough. Athletes "spending too much time on social media" is the dumbest take ever. You realize they're actual people who are allowed occasional free time right?

Real madrid are a new team. Very new. I,ll give them another 5 years to start challenging Barca. Barcelona actually need that challenge to make the Spanish league more competitive. The Barcelona board of directors said it themselves. They were begging real madrid to start a women's team so that a female el classico can be established. Barcelona knows that Spain needs a more competitive league.
