This game, as far as running rugby goes, was by far the better game. Blues /Canes game was tense, but the majority of the tries were through boring forward play.

A tackled player is allowed to place the ball...but a tackler doesn't have do walk back with their hands in the air...lol

Yeah that’s a weird one hey, they should have to play the ball backward as you would after being tackled. I wonder if the ref got this one wrong because it is quite an unusual circumstance to be fair - this should be a double/second movement penalty no?

Hated by many but respected by all.tough luck to my beloved Crusaders. 7 years of plenty followed by 7 of famine. Well done Highlanders, u played with so much courage

So many people take great pleasure in the Crusaders losing. Normally a telling sign when you don't have your own wins to celebrate so you celebrate someone else's losses 😂 Tough luck for the Crusaders, errors to fix but some positives such as Hotham. Where has that kid come from?! Quality.

if i had to pick the ABS tomorrow-it will only have a couple of saders in it , barrett, reece, and not much else.

@@DrissZyani-bu5mo Did we? The Warratahs didn't do any better when they got rid of him and they were a shambles the year before. Was it 4 championships in a row with Canterbury? Coach of the year in the Pro14 and bringing the Shining Arcs up to constant play off competitors. If anything the Warratahs year is the anomaly for him. We've seen damn good NZ coaches go overseas and get nowhere and then leave and have success again. Hard to put that all on the coaches shoulders. They lost a lot of senior players and leadership in the Crusaders, more than any other team, he has a free year to build and we can judge his success on next year.

Such BS that last try. If the player is tackled surely he can't then dive forwards over the line. Isn't it a form of double movement? Don't think one dynamic movement applies in this case. But you see this in the middle of the field too, ref says he's "tackled", "release", but he's still propelling himself forwards or being propelled forwards.

That last try was not a try how can you say release so that person can score a try. Check you rules IRB its the reason you cant fill seats in stadiums. Warriors are losing and yet they sell out stadiums
