@jakeclough8090 rugby tickets for the top aussie or top nz teams are very expensive per person. Your lucky to get some sort of clearance family deals on a good day. Keep in mind 2nd tier nz rugby Bunnings npc (formerly known as NPC) is cheaper than super rugby however it still gets less views on TV and as spectators. Before super rugby comp existed even during the time argentina and South Africa In present times. Bunnings npc was tier 1 and had larger crowds than that of compared to super rugby in its prime. Even after bunnings npc finally declared tier 2 in nz rugby pyramid. 2 to 4 years after superrugby's founding. It came out that bunnings npc still had massive crowds. Lately the average Television viewership for superrugby per a game in nz numbers somewhere of 30000 to that of 60000. Hence if you want to know too is how super rugby is surviving. " surviving due to viewership".

​​@@jakeclough8090whole bunch of reasons but main one would be how much an afternoon or evening out at the stadiums costs. Between ticket prices, a bite to eat and transport or parking probably looking at 50 dollars per person. An average family of 4 cant do that on a regular basis.

In the 90s the Auckland rugby clubs gave tickets to their kid teams to watch the provincial Auckland team on a sunny Saturday afternoon. my single mum would take us all to the game. one way to fill a stadium, grow the clubs and keep the fire burning

Man I miss Cory Jane. Solid under the high ball along with Dagg, and a great fend on the attack. I remember our 2009 was rather poor, then in 2010 those two came along to neutralise the opposition high balls.

Great game both sides. From a Canes side thought TJ, Shields, Lakai and Barrett played well. I think the bomb squad idea bombed would of preferred at least Shields/Jose orn for longer could of made a difference at the end. Had to laugh at Tuipalotu looking lost and doing a spin when TJ scored.

Somebody should've told Walker to stay clear of the ball the last 2 minutes. That guy was a walking turn over. Getting blasted at the rucks, no counter rucking. Just dropped balls and disappointment all night.

I enjoyed the game but I wanted the Canes to win. The Blues forwards were a lot better than the Canes. The Canes didn't protect the ball enough at ruck time. Cameron's kicking coat us a bit & defence was found wanting.

Honestly I slept on Plummer thinking that when Otere Black left it was the start of the end but everytime Plummer has been called up to fill in at flyhalf, inside centre or fullback he has always performed. Definitely my pick for man of the match.

Was a great game that I expected the Canes to win. Going into the last 5mins I was still confident.. but in the last movement when Walker Lea-Were got the ball my hopes were dashed. He stands too tall which surrenders the drive power required to go forward.. Blues survive.!

26000 Great crowd ...super rugby needs it but also 18000 at Highlanders game ...Soccer the Phenex is sold out too well done who would have thought it.

Would be good to see some defence in the highlights too. Especially the 2 try-saving tackles. They were huge. Chuck the yellow cards in there as well. They're big in the outcome of the game.
