In the case of "Man U," the term was used in several chants that referred to the Munich Air Disaster of 1958 in which 23 people died, including eight United players. One example includes "Man U, Man U went on a plane.

Mullin an absolute legend

Im a canadian whos family is scottish from glasgow and you can imagine how intense days were when a match between Celtic and Rangers was... hahaha family war day we called it lol so football has always been in my heart but those were the family teams and i didnt get drawn into any teams ever until Wrexham... theyre just captivating... the team, the town, the show.... all of it!!! ❤😂

@@petemitchel5622 so many more plastic fans in the prem tbh, most non-uk wrexham fans are fans due to the documentary and the story they've fell in love with, many non-uk prem fans are fans because they saw said team winning in that teams prime and stayed

@@petemitchel5622 Why do you care about who other people support? Do you also comment on all other teams with international fan bases? International supporters gives this team more money, which gives them the opportunity to grow even more. If you would ask all "real supporters" I would say the big majority don't care, I would even say most probably feel proud of the attention and success they have been seeing. As strider said, most non-uk wrexham fans got their eyes opened to Wrexham thanks to the documentary and the story being told. I would say many people can relate to that story.

If you notice, the EFL KZread channel NEVER put out the highlight video of last week's Forest Green game, despite it making Wrexham club history and being MAJOR news. This game's highlights are nowhere to be found, either. This is despite the fact the EFL channel has usually been putting the highlight videos out sooner than this channel. In the US, we have a word for when someone gets resentful and refuses to acknowlege another's success. It's called being "butthurt." I wonder who, in the EFL video production department, is so butthurt they've stopped Wrexham's highlight videos from being published.

A fair amount I'd say, quite a few of our starters will become subs or reserves if they don't leave

Don't understand how people say that it wasn't a red card, mullin did give him a shove but there was no need to put your arm up and catch the ball, mullin would of been clear through, 100% a red

@j25_wxmfc86, it wasn't a shove. I slowed it down to 25% speed and watched it over a couple times. Cooney was cutting in front of Mullin and slowing down, blocking Mullin. Mullin had his right arm out in front of him to keep from getting tripped. Mullin's arm then goes straight back behind him, never making a shoving motion at all. At 2:36, it looks as though Cooney elbowed Mullin a bit, maybe even in the side of the face, then pushed (bounced?) off him. Mullin never pushed Cooney at all.

Yeah, it's tougher. Forest Green are a good example. In the 2021/22 season they won promotion to League 1 as the champions of League 2, but the following season, 22/23, they struggled big time and got relegated straight back down to League 2. Sadly, Wrexham are going to have leave behind some hardworking loyal players who can't hack it in League 1 if they want to progress.

Sorry, the red card, was that like a penalty try in Rugby? I watched the replay and could really see the handball but trust the commentary. Was it something like deliberate foul to stop a certain goal or something? It's been a while since I followed football (decades) and the rules have changed.

Similar to a penalty try in rugby - or even like sinister play. The red is for denial of a clear goal scoring opportunity - aka 'last man'. Basically, it's at the referee's discretion to decide if the foul impedes a direct chance on goal.

He grabbed the ball for a second, maybe deliberately to stop a goal-scoring opportunity or maybe because he thought the foul was already given, but that stopped what could've been a clear goal-scoring opportunity so it was a red, reds are typically given for either stopping a goal scoring opportunity illegally or a really dangerous foul, or just simply an aggressive attack on another player outside of play, similar to rugby pretty much. Penalty tries don't exist in football the same way they do in rugby, we call them just a penalty and you only get them if you're fouled inside the box, instead of the goal being automatically given, with a penalty, the ball is placed on the penalty spot (in the middle of the box pretty much) then a player, unimpeded, gets a chance to shoot, the goalie can save it, but that doesn't happen too often, so it normally does result in a goal, but sometimes the goalie guesses the right way and they save it.

Mullin always pushes the dark arts with his physicality and theatrics. Might be a little tougher to get away with in League 1.

Not a red card, mullin caused the handball. But looking good for league 1. Will need a couple next level players.

I love this commentator's enthusiasm, but I'm not a fan of his style overall. He elaborates far too much for me.

He is doing the commentary for Radio via IFollow and then matches it up afterwards with the broadcaster's content, Sky TV I think. So that's why he is so detailed.

Won't be watching or following this club again after the anti British and monarchy chanting
