High Wycombe Bus Running Day 02/06/2024
The High Wycombe bus running day on 2nd June 2024, organised by the Amersham & District Motorbus Society. A mix of classic London Transport types and more modern preserved buses took part in this event, many of the newer vehicles representing types used by Arriva in the town during the 2000s, while the B9TL was covering for a bus which was unavailable on the day.

Nicely done in what appears to have been difficult light/shadow conditions. The colours pop when panning from the contre-jour. It does seem rather discomforting to see an Arriva Dart in preservation. That's because I'm old enough to remember when Routemasters were new and flashy.

Thanks! I can remember when Darts of that age were new, but not anything before those. To me it's types which came out during the 2000s that seem strange to see preserved, yet obviously good that there is interest in saving some.
