I grow up some in Negril, use to be such a beautiful place to be Local and tourist use to get along so well until the police and soldiers drove all the locals away because a few bad apples made it bad for everyone You would think you're in a war zone when you see soldiers hiding in the bushes to catch the locals trying to sell weed to the tourist People were terrified on vacation One of the worst for me my father in his late 60s, been going to negril since he was a young boy,we own much land there And the police did something to him where he never visited negril again I learn to make my first tsunami right there on that 7 mile beach Our entire village use to come right there on that 7 mile beach and meet Moses in spirit The 7 mile beach was name after us Barely any children comes out to the seven mile beach anymore I still come to the 7 mile beach and barely any children comes anymore because the police drives there parents away from the beach and now they all go to the rivers instead The tourist they have abandon negril in the thousands for other parts of Jamaica, so hopefully the children and there parents ca come to the beaches again one day
