Lift landing doors should always be locked when the lift car is not present. The lift should not be able to move any open doors. Landing doors are not automatic, the lift cab door operator unlocks and operates them. Why was the door open?

Props for testing inspection controls when getting on. Why do you go down first? Isn't it better to go up first, as it doesn't bring you out of reach of the rollers in case something didn't function as expected. Also they are Otis mod lifts with REM, doesn't putting it on inspection alert security? Also once I put an Otis mod lift with REM into inspection, tested inspection and got off (putting it back to normal), then the indicator went to [ - - ], I waited around and it didn't go to the bottom of the shaft to go find position again, it just disabled its self, and alerted Security. How come that didn't happen to you?

I presume you are from the USA as you call it an "elevator", where i am (in the UK) trespass isn't illegal, its a civil offence (which is nothing tbh). Not sure if its the same in france but I like the way they do it in the UK as I see nothing wrong with trespass. Of course, if they do anything fround upon e.g. force entry or damage things then they can be prosecuted for those things seperately.

this is illegal. Elevator in this video is running in automatic mode and author rides on cabin. Person could be crashed to the ceiling when cabin goes to top floor (but that depends on elevator shaft construction). This is also very hazardous enviroment (risk od death by being crashed to everything). If you dosn't work for some elevator company or don't have knowledge how elevator works, and what safety precausions are you better not go there. Elevator shaft is out of bounds to general public for reason.

Someone smart enough for safe lift surfing knows how to get access even without keys. Please note that I am not against sharing knowledge but when doing so you have to make sure everything goes through and not just the interesting parts.
