You can see at 9min in one of them admit that they only need a few there. Kind of careless and honestly a little concerning lackadaisical they’re being about the traffic buildup.

I know the person that was involved in this & the dog is with me and as safe as can be! So sweet seeing everyone worried about him. His name is Areo! He’s a trooper! I can’t add a picture onto the chat but I made him my profile pic so everyone can see a happy photo of him!

That's honestly such a good dog, hopefully he'll get a good home and won't have to be put through anything like this again. A pile up both ways on the road is horrible

I feel the worst for the dogs in these situations. They have no clue what’s going on and that their owners messed up and the poor things are just scared because their owners are being taken away in their eyes 😭

That dog part was heartbreaking 🥺 he probably felt like he was failing at keeping his master safe. I'm just glad that he didn't bite anyone. Hopefully he gets a new home with loving responsible owners.

I am glad I’m not alone feeling heartbreak for the dog, you can hear the distress in the barking. Poor dog, I hope all is well and the owner gets help.

While it’s funny on camera, it’s actually something that is frightening for the officers in the moment as “guzzling alcohol, pulling a smoke, popping a few pills” last minute can and has been an indicator that the individual is mentally and physically preparing for a “final act” such as pulling a gun, attempting to ram with a car, or worse.

It's not unheard of for people that are about to be charged with DUI to do that, because a lawyer can say that they were not impaired while driving - they failed because they drank alcohol afterwards.

I love those talks that service workers have in the midst of everything. Firefighters, paramedics, or police, they all seem to be able to share a laugh about the situation sometimes and it’s kind of heartwarming to see that. The officer deploying the sticks is taking on the most dangerous role in a pursuit in my opinion. A high speed swerve could be the end. A job well done by all.

I feel sorry for the dog. 😢 He has no idea what’s happening, just that someone is grabbing his owner , pulling him out of the car and he needs to protect owner. 😢 I hope a family member was able to get the dog so it wasn’t put down.

Not to mention if the dog does anything to harm the officers it would be unceremoniously put down, or at the very least tazed. And it would do that because obviously it has no idea what is happening and thinks a member of its pack (the owner) is being killed by the police. A dog in this situation is both in extreme danger and extremely dangerous because of that animal instinct. Apparently the dog is doing great though.

There are safer (cars aren't 100% safe for anyone) ways for animals to ride. A crate is probably (arguably) safest. I tether mine to a hardcore auto-zipline, using their heavy duty harnesses. Not an #Ad (but it could be 😁) all the products are from Kurgo. They actually test their products for dogs. 👍🏻

These videos have confirmed what I already suspected: there's a lot of drunks in Wisconsin.

I really appreciate that these cops went out of their way to not hurt the dog.

One thing this channel has made me appreciate about police, is that they are human like the rest of us. After all the action, hearing them initiate small talk with one another is honestly really interesting. How they talk about things they did, how they reacted, how nervous they were at some point it shows the human side that often gets overlooked.

Guys, of course I know they're humans. It's just you don't often see _this_ side of them. The media more frequently shows the action or bad side of them. I'm just showing appreciation for this channel in showcasing a side that often gets overlooked.

I've been a cop for 19 years in Philly. You have no idea how human we really are. I catch the bus to and from and my jokes are so bad nobody offers me a ride. Now where did I put my 🍩 🍩 🍩 🍩

Total prohibition didn’t work, but it’s clear that certain persons should be prohibited from accessing alcohol.

Side note: it wasn’t really total prohibition. Catholics and those that could prove religious exemption (I believe Jews also have wine for Passover) were still allowed alcohol. But that’s just me being a history nerd.

Oftentimes it's worse... far worse at that. I've seen many videos of situations nearly identical to this except they would have several children in the vehicle! No car seat and once there was a drunk girlfriend holding an infant in the front seat!

The only one I care for now is the poor dog he was so so concerned my heart was breaking. He was a good boy for not attacking

I saw that Dodge Ram at the beginning. Not surprised it's an inattentive driver and hogging the left lane.

Awesome to see the boys in blue able to relax a bit these days even during a stop lol

This guy made some bad decisions on that day, but drinking excessively is probably what earned him the initial disorderly conduct and the felony charges. People like him really need help, I hope he’s ok and that he’s making better decisions.
